Dry baked goods, wish we liked them more - Edit
We stopped here on a road trip earlier this year but were unfortunately pretty underwhelmed by the baked goods we got, and we tried several different breads. They were all incredibly dry, perhaps were oil free since it seemed like a very health-food focused place? But honestly the weirdest thing was that the guy at the counter was incredibly nice and chatty and then as we were leaving gave us a couple pamphlets, one about something heart-health related and another about how the Pope is the antichrist. I wish I was kidding. It was very bizarre.

Cons: Very dry baked goods , Weird handouts during checkout

Great - Edit
Shocked to find a place like this in Crossville but they said they moved here for “country living”. Fair enough. Super sweet people and great food for a great price. They sang us a song. They have some tight harmonies too. Super sweet husband and wife.

Awesome patties! - Edit
While driving on I-40 , my husband & I saw a sign for Leroy’s Jamaican Vegan Bakery, and simultaneously shouted “JAMAICAN VEGAN PATTIES?!?!” He immediately did a cartoon-like swerve off the ramp. We were not expecting to see that in the middle of Tennessee and I’m so glad we stopped! We had spicy and mild patties and rock cake (coconut cake) and a sorrel drink. The patties were great; the owners focus on on preparing healthier foods so they weren’t greasy. The rock cake was very good and not too sweet. The sorrel was great as well. The owners are friendly and they handed us a pamphlet about health and sang a duet after we paid. That’s not usually my scene but they have beautiful voices and seemed kind and sincere. I’d definitely plan to go back next time I’m in the area.

What a gem! - Edit
We learned of Leroy’s when we charged our Tesla in their parking lot. Several time we were there on a Saturday but they weren’t open as they observe sabbath. Finally, we showed up on a Sunday and met Leroy. He was delightful. We had a coconut cake which was good and a stuffed savory “patty” which was so good. Some of their products do have honey FYI.
