Yummy healthy food

Loved the pre-boiled sautéed veggies and fruit platter. The fruit juices are delicious too and freshly made. I actually saw them go to the garden to chop a bit of aloe vera to make one.

Nice vegan curry

Thanks to happycow, we stumbled upon this place and don’t regret it: we had one of the best vegan rice and curries we had during the first week of our Sri Lanka trip.
The only thing that bothered us was the fair amount of insects flying around and being their annoying selfs...
Update: we ended up coming here 3 times in 3 days, and all of them were satisfying, also for my non-vegan friends. My favorite were the pan fried veggies! And the insect thing was definitely better the second and third time.

Pros: Familiar with veganism, Different vegan options, Nice flavours

Come here for yoga, fresh juices and a bite to eat

Run by Anna & Samira and their charming son Leo. Has yoga classes on two times a day, offers accommodation and also has a lovely pool. In Leo’s kitchen they serve fresh juices, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Have had breakfast with toast, roti, different vegan friendly spreads and off course all the fresh fruit. Also had hummus, pasta, fried vegetables. They can also do a vegan friendly curry for lunch. Totally recommend!

Restaurant near the beach

We came here for lunch and I had bruschetta which was tasty but not too much. My boyfriend (Vegetarian) had a Cheese and tomato sandwich.
In general more expensive than local restaurants but they try to be as environmentally friendly as possible and we support that.

Tasty, friendly, great all around

Wonderful staff who understand what being vegan means and are happy to accommodate! I came twice in my few days in Nilaveli and had the veg noodles and veg curry, both were filling and super tasty
