Decent vegetarian wrap - Edit
The falafel grilled wrap was decent and tasty. As it had chilly sauce and cheese sauce etc. sauces were lil less but over all it was good. As I had no expectation, I liked it

Vegan options - Edit
I had the waffle fries with vegan aioli, there were other sauce options as well like chilli sauce and ketchup, both vegan too.
Read moreThis chain has more vegan options like salads, aubergine curry and falafel wrap.
Staff was a bit unfriendly.
Unfortunately, my waffle fries weren’t warm. At least I had something to eat at Schiphol Airport.

Above average fpr Airport - Edit
When options are burger King next to it, this place is nice authentic. Dishes are not amazing but hey we are at the airport. Located at Launge 1 area upstairs. And have a couple options with even a children's menu. Kudos.

Tasty option for an airport meal - Edit
“Healthy” fast food restaurant at Amsterdam Schiphol. There were 2 vegan dishes available. We took the falafel bowl, which basically was brown rice with 4 falafels and some pieces of bell pepper. Portion size was okay.

Good for an airport meal - Edit
A few vegan options, I had a falafel box and it was a bit junk-foody (overcooked greasy rice) but it was actually tasty, with herbs and fresh lemon. Heavily overpriced for a small box, as is everything at AMS. Wouldn’t buy it otherwise but for an airport quite ok.

Warm meal at the airport 🙏 - Edit
Inside the foodcourt, 2nd floor. No burger on the menu anymore. But I had the Black bean rice box as a meal (with fries and a coke). Decent quality and happy to get warm food in the airport. Normal rating would be lower, but as an airport meal, I give it 4/5.

Tasty option at Amsterdam airport! - Edit
Had the meal deal at Leon in Lounge 1 which included the black bean stew with rice, a side of chips and choice of drink. A tasty dinner option at the airport and not too expensive.

Had a layover and was happy to see Leon had no line! The Brazilian black bean chili and rice was great and the fries are a must! They even come with vegan aioli if you ask for it😄they also have coffee and dairy alternatives are not extra cost! love this place.

LEON at AMS - Edit
It's located before security checkpoint in a little upstairs cove with a few other restaurants. The lady working the counter was the worst! She had a hard time concentration and moved super slowly. She would whisper the order numbers into the mic and nobody would hear her so she'd shrug and then go back to working the cash register. Somebody replace her quickly! I got the rich man's porridge here with no honey and with almond milk instead of regular milk. It was good. I was disappointed to find out that they don't serve meals until after 10 or 11 (I can't remember which) especially since I was about to get on a 12 hour flight and was worried about meals. They have the standard Leon's baked goods here: billionaire bars, a fruit and nut bar, etc. I don't think they had vegan donuts when I visited.

Ok - Edit
Had the vegan sweet potato and cauliflower curry. It was ok but nothing special at all. A very quick and acceptable option if you happen to be close but absolutely not worth coming here if your gate is not right next to it

Good option for hungry airport stucked travellers - Edit
This fast food chain has a great number of vegan options (burger, falafel, curry, beans, ricebox,...) and is pretty quick to serve. We had their Love Vegan Burger and it was quite good😄They serve in eco-friendly materials and if you pack your bamboo straw in your checked bag by mistake as we did, they provide the paper ones :)

Tasty and flexible - Edit
I ordered a Brazilian Black Bean rice box, but wanted a big box. So without having to pay extra they gave me a bigger box allowing me to choose between more rice or salad! The dish was super tasty too, definitely recommended.

Few breakfast options - Edit
Only choices were porridge or cinnamon on bread. I chose the cinnamon, which was just two pieces of bread stuck together with some sticky cinnamon. 2€ so I can’t complain, but I wish there was more on offer.

Ok for airport food - Edit
If you're sick of Albert Heijn's soggy, cold falafelwraps, this is a welcome change. Kind of on the expensive side, and not the best, but it's fresh and it's vegan, and tastes okay. Only decent option at Schiphol.

Updated review - Edit
I work in Schiphol and used to go here regularly. They had several vegan options for breakfast and lunch and the staff were well trained in dietary requirements.
Read moreNow the staff seem to care less in general.
The vegan shortbread is no longer available and the staff now seem ignorant to allergies, dietary preferences etc.
The coffee is still great but the place has lost it's charm for me.
Pros: Vegan options, Nice coffee
Cons: Fewer vegan options, Declining standards of customer service
StephenEamonn
Also a 2nd branch of Leon open after security at the Food Hall in Lounge 1! Heard they will also open in Utrecht Centraal train station and are planning other locations around NL! Sadly, newer staff seem less trained in veggie options and the almond milk has disappeared.
