The best spot on the east side

I’ve been coming here for years, I just love this spot. The owner (and everyone who works there) is such a joy! Their menu changes daily so there’s always something new to look forward to/try. One of my very favorite spots in LA — Very thankful it has remained open during this time ❤️

Pros: Loads of vegan options, Friendliest owner/staff, Wonderful selection of groceries too!

Underwhelming

After reading many reviews and seeing Lento on social media, it looked very good so I made the trip to go get a breakfast sandwich and it wasn’t all that. Although 100% vegan, it just didn’t wow me. I expected a fresh breakfast sandwich but it was in a refrigerator and then heated up quickly in a toaster oven which was not heated evenly. I would recommend for a quick snack but not enough to consider it a meal.

Cons: Bland, Not fresh

My go to spot

Everything is delicious. The spaghetti Bolognese is my favorite. The breakfast bagel and breakfast burrito are fire. Also try any of the desserts.

Breakfast Burrito!

Their famous breakfast burrito is as wonderful as we had heard! Lovely, kind, and friendly workers. High recommend to take your picnic to Echo Park Lake!

Great food AMAZING taste, texture and seasoning!!

Had the breakfast burrito and fish fillet sandwich. Both are top notch. Also had a turmeric shot and took some desserts to go.... GLAD I didn’t pass this place by!!!

The OG and Sir Nasty

Best breakfast sandwiches. We got the OG Badass and the Sir Nasty (same thing but with siracha and onion). If you’re looking for a delicious, sweet spicy and saucy breakfast sandwich loaded with vegan cheese check this place out.

Pros: All vegan menu, Very good

Cons: Pretty expensive but worth it

SO GOOD!

I ordered the bacon avocado grilled cheese and my husband got the fish filet sandwich. Both were delicious! Whatever vegan cheese they use was so melty and creamy. Nice, casual spot to grab a yummy lunch! And the owners are extremely friendly!

Happy customer

I bought their breakfast bagel sandwich, spaghetti and meat balls(vegan), and oatmeal chocolate cookie. I must say that everything was full of flavor and delicious. I will definitely be returning to try something else off their menu.

I found this place on Yelp and the employee working there informed me about HappyCow and I got the app, thanks to her(I believe her name is Ana).

Pros: The food is full of flavor. , Clean environment , Friendly staff

Cons: Parking can be a bit hard to find.

Small Vegan store & hot food

We ate here whilst passing. It’s a small owner ran business. Has limited rotating food options. We had sliders which were fabulous

Pros: All vegan, Can buy groceries too, Really nice owner

So mf gooood

Mhmmm this is what I like. Everything about it. The flavor, the portions, the grab and go. The breakfast bagel is wonderful and so is the burrito. It tastes indulgent but also healthy at the same time. You can really taste the love in this.

Lento market is cute

Lento market is a cute all vegan market/ deli /restaurant. They have everything you would need from a pizza to toilet paper. If you want a snack this is the place for you!

Sloppy Joe Sandwich

I would have taken a photo but I ate it too fast and it was amazing. If you ever are near this part of town, get on it.

Also there is a small selection of vegan cookies worth equal effort. So good.

100% vegan rotating menu

Lento is cheap and delicious, my friend and I stopped here while in L.A. and we were blown away. Their breakfast burrito was massive, and their BLT sandwich and cookies were delicious. The folks who work there are also incredibly friendly. Menu is 100% vegan!

Market #1 in LA

Lento is great spot worth of supporting at all cost. Unfortunately I didnt catch the pizza day, but everything else I've tasted was amazing! You can also buy vegan cheeze, vegan soups in cans etc. which is very useful for travellers.

Love it here!

I love Lento! It's in a great location, and has the perfect mix of vegan stuff you need to make a great meal at home. They also have DELICIOUS to-go meals––I highly recommend the breakfast burrito on Sundays. The owners are incredibly kind and worth supporting.

Excellent burrito and friendly owner

I just ate a superb breakfast burrito at the small, cosy market. The owner is very friendly and passionate, and he has stocked his store with some of the best vegan brands. He also offers his own vegan oatmeal cookies and cookie sandwiches. Recommended if you want a quick, tasty bite and some snacks.

Amazing neighborhood spot! Support small business!

Absolutely love this spot. It's a little vegan market with a deli case of deliciousness. Everything I have had hear is great. Love all the savory dishes and the desserts are out of this world. Try them all. Everyone I have met there is super friendly and helpful. Can't say enough about this spot. I wish them all the success, so that they can grow for the benefit of all of us here in the neighborhood. Thank you for making Echo Park even better.

mom and pop vegan takeaway and market

Great little mom and pop takeaway and market. Made with love and great taste. I had the Italian sausage pizza and it was great out of the toaster oven! The best I've had. A little spicy with loads of fennel. Big enough to share. I sat outside and watched the world go by. Delicious wedding cake cookie for dessert. Market has stapes and they're adding more.
