Lenteja Express - Laureles

Quizás de los lugares que uno más escucha cuando recién va a comenzar una dieta vegetariana o vegana, está bien para ese entonces, sin embargo la proteína de la hamburguesa puede llegar a ser un poco seca. Su Flor de Jamaica es muy rica.

Las hamburguesas son ricas, aunque personalmente no es de mis lugares favoritos para comer, el servicio es muy bueno, la gente es muy amable.

Lenteja Express was the only veg*n place I could find in the Poblado neighbourhood that was open later on a Monday night. It's on a fairly nice street and there's a pleasant patio. The food was good, but I agree with another reviewer that the burgers are a bit dry. Still tasty, though. My friend had the vegetarian lasagna and said it was good.

The waiter didn't speak much English so I had some trouble ordering and wound up with the wrong thing. If you don't speak Spanish, just make sure they see what you're pointing at on the menu. They did their best to help us.

It's just down the street from Verdeo, which is also nice, so you can choose either one.

quite nice place for a lentil burger or wrap or something. tasted Okay but a bit dry. definitely an option when you are in the area.

The menu is short (which i find good) and includes burgers, lasagnas, beans (on Fridays), a Lebanese plate (hummus, falafel...) and so on.

I took their special burger (and it was indeed specially tasty, together with its criolla-potatoes...)

And all this was like 16,000 COP (a bit over $5 USD)

One more thing, the restaurant is in one of Medellin's trendy sectors.
