Decent vegan ice cream by the beach

They opened quite late at about 2pm. Perhaps the hours change when it's high season.

We ordered the forest fruits and the fresca ice cream - the former was more like a sorbet but the latter was nice and creamy. We were hoping for more vegan options but happy with what we got. Noticed they had a 'little blue pill' flavour available, which was very intriguing 😅

Nice and creamy

We were visiting Peníscola for the day and ice cream was mandatory with such nice weather! But it's not always easy to find nice vegan options and not much was listed on HappyCow (only one and it was closed that day). So I thought I would add this one too. The vegan ice cream flavours were really nice! It's not indicated on the labels what is vegan so you need to ask what doesn't contain dairy. I had dark chocolate and melon, hubby had dark chocolate and strawberry. Fruit flavours didn't taste like sorbet but very much like ice cream - delicious!
