麗姐素菜館 is a basic little veggie food eatery in Samphantawongse (China Town), next to Check Inn Chinatown hotel. Look for the red & yellow "jay" flags (vegetarian). Everything on the menu (with pictures) is supposed to be vegan, made with tofu, noodle, and rice. Open Mon-Sun 8:00am-5:30pm.

Good looking menu, bad service - Edit
This restaurant was surprisingly easy to find. There were big yellow advertisement hanging by this street restaurant.
Read moreThey had a menu and I tried to order a noodle soup. After I tried to order that I also tried to point some mock meat photos. Eventually I got only the mock meats, no noodle soup. I decided to continue walking around Yaowarat instead of going and asking for the soup. The person serving me did not smile at all and was bored. I got the feeling that I was not welcome.
I think I will visit this place because the menu seemed interesting, but I hope next time they will understand that I might want both soup and a mock meat portion.
Pros: cheap, feeling of street food
Cons: not too friendly customer service

One of gems… - Edit
This place is wonderful. All food is vegan ( remember; in Thailand vegetarian means vegan… sometimes you have to point that you eat also garlic and onion, because some of the strict vegan recipes are without it), and the atmosphere is beautiful.

Convenient, cheap, kind, delicious. - Edit
I usually hit this spot when I am in Bangkok. Most recently I had the Mee So Ba Pad Kra Ched. It was very tasty. The portion was OK, but you might want a side dish as well if you are hungry. I love the kind, quiet, no frills vibe of this place. It is a basic streetside diner and is run like one. Also, it is fully vegan so you can confidently order anything on the menu - there is a lot to choose from.

Great stall with outdoor seating - Edit
Great Thai food and friendly staff. Lots of vegan options (possibly all options are vegan). They have outdoor seating under cover which is very convenient during monsoon season!! Super cheap also, I defo recommend if you’re looking for top notch Thai street food and would like a wee seat to eat!

Nice cheap meal! - Edit
Really good find for a cheap vegan meal. Even my boyfriend who is a carnivore enjoyed it. Super friendly staff, even though they didn’t speak much English. Easy to find on the map, but you do sit at the side of a road to eat your food. Would recommend!

WAS SO GOOD! - Edit
Mate, my food, was less than a 10th of what we pay in New Zealand, it was tastier, prepared faster, and came out hotter than anything at home. Absolutely sensational. The pad see ew is tu meke, what are you waiting for? Get stuck into this one!

I went there with my hostel friends and we were all starved so we forgot to take pictures of our dishes but the food was fresh and delicious, the staff very friendly and the location in a very quiet sideway. Will definitely go back for lunch later.

Really good food! Great variety, even though you have to chose by picture. Spot on where it says it is in the map and in a fairly quiet side street to get a few minutes of quiet. Would come back anytime!

Disappointing - Edit
I came here during a trip to China Town after reading many positive reviews, however, I found the food quite disappointing. I got the stir fried noodles with water mimosa and they were just salty and oily, didn't have much flavor. The portion was really small as well. I suppose this can be justified by the price (60 thb), even though you can get decent portions of street food for the same price elsewhere.

Variety of dishes on the menu - Edit
This vegetarian food stall is a bit hidden so better to follow the navigation to find it.
Read moreThe place it not very big but they manage to create some nice seats to sit and eat.
They have a quite extended menu to choose from.
Difficult to make choice especially when you can already see the delicious displayed food and smell from the kitchen.
We went for some nice macaron style dish, fried rice and a morning glory dish. Everything was very tasty with lots of flavors.
I was also allowed to have a look in the kitchen while our food was prepared. It was very nice to see the entire process from cutting to frying to the end result on our plate.
It’s always nice to have a little tray of spices on the table to adjust to each and everyone’s spiciness level.
I would recommend and go back to try out other dishes from the menu!

Everything was vegan. Really good food and nice english-speaking staff. It was also cheap. Rice with tofu and morning glory was super delicious. There is also a little shop where you can buy some snacks.
