Really neat brunch, awesome cakes and cupcakes - Edit

Today we had our second brunch and although it was basically the same stuff as the first time, we loved it. There are so many varieties of vegan cheese and cuts plus a few home made spreads like jams, Mett and hummus, that you simply cannot taste them all within these few hours. The pancakes and cupakes are included and are simply awesome, although REALLY sweet, which may not be to everybody's taste. There is a fridge with some vegan cheeses, cuts and sausages for customers to buy for later use at home and also a good variety of cakes, most with cream toppings, also very sweet, but very delicious. The atmosphere is very friendly and rather mellow, the owner is very nice and glad to explain everything. The only downside is that they are not 100% vegan as they do serve cow milk. Highly recommended!

Pros: Vast brunch buffet, Great cupcakes, Friendly atmosphere

Cons: Not 100% vegan (cow milk)

Fantastic brunch! - Edit

We visited Leckerbisschen on a Saturday and went back in the Sunday.
On the first day we tried the soup of the day which was a fantastic green pea soup, served with a roll. I also tried their deluxe bagel, which was very good and filling. Everything is really well priced and the staff is super helpful if you can't read German.
But the Brunch on the Sunday makes me want to visit Essen again just to go back for more! It was packed with fantastic food; fresh baked bread, pancakes, home toasted müsli, lots of vegan cold cuts and cheeses, cupcakes, cake, fruit and spreads. Coffee, tea and juice is included.

The surroundings are very cute as it is in the olde town, and there is parking available free nearby.

The locale is nice and has a retro feel to it. There is a kids table with puzzles and toys and dogs are welcome.

The bathrooms have sharebaskets with tampons and hairspray.

Pros: Amazing Food, Well Priced, Cozy

Cons: A Bit Outside Of Town, Only Brunch On Sundays
