What a find!

This place is almost 100% vegan, meaning I was overcome with breakfast choices. The style is stark but very cool - no cosy chairs here. However there are plenty of books, cookbooks and children’s activities to make you feel at home. It’s places like this that make me so grateful for Happy Cow, without which I never would have discovered this place.

Good food!

We had the spinach and corn waffles which were sensational and the mushroom toast which were nice too albeit a bit bland. The food came quickly but the waiter was a bit oblivious and did not check on us at all - it's more a cafe than a restaurant.

Pros: Tasty food, came quickly, Beautiful plants, high ceilings, bright, Child and dog friendly

Cons: Service could improve, Would be nice to have chilli flakes, seeds...

Small but good vegan lunch spot

My waffle dish was really delish. Menu very small. My daughter found her avocado toast too lemony.

Not available all-day

Although it’s advertisement says that they offer brunch all day long. They kitchen closes at 15:00 therefore I was not able to enjoy anything from their place. Thumbs down!

Cute little café

The matcha latte was very good, I haven’t tried the food yet but it looked delicious.

Really interesting and tasty selection of meals

I had the vegan version of "Classic English" on toast, which was a chickpea fritter, spicy chickpeas, mushroom and a harissa sauce on charcoal sourdough. Looked stunning, and tasted great too. Was a decent amount of food for £8.

Pros: Really interesting and unusual dishes

very very good food!

had an amazing lunch here with my sister. i liked that you can order dishes from the menu or put a plate together yourself (about 10 things to choose from, 2 pounds each).
had the avocado & tomato toast and a plate with portobello mushroom, beans, smoked carrot and something like polenta which name i don't remember.
everything looked and tasted amazing - well spiced, not oily, fresh and healthy! pretty crazy to charge 2 pounds for 1(!) carrot though. but, alltogether the price was definitely ok.
what bothered me a little bit was that we received the food before the drinks - seeing that the barista made drinks for other (take out?-) customers before he made ours. not the best service. which was surprising, as everyone was actually really friendly and helpful.

the place is lovely! there are many seating options inside and outside and it's a great place before or after strolling through the notting hill area. i'd happily come back whenever it takes me back to the area :)

Pros: many vegan options, taste taste taste!!!, great drinks!

Cons: timing of drinks & food, not serving people in the right order
