Le Vegetarian in Villefranche is a really lovely find. It’s a cute little stand with outdoor seating right in the village square, which makes it such a nice place to sit and soak in the atmosphere.
Read moreTwo people in my group had the vegetarian omelettes with cheese and said they were very fluffy and tasty. I ordered the vegan platter and was genuinely happy with it. The fries were hot and perfectly cooked, and honestly, the fresh salad was such a welcome change while traveling. There was also a kind of vegan tart included, which added something a little different and special to the plate.
They also offer plant milk for coffee and hot chocolate, which I always appreciate. Overall, good, simple, satisfying food in a really pretty setting. Definitely recommended. Just note that it’s cash only.

It's a simple restaurant located in a beautiful place. However, because of the season, they didn't have most of the food they usually offer. In fact, they improvised mixing some tofu with banana. Not so much protein, but the owners were so polite. Furthermore, there was a beautiful cat who stays with them and you can hang out with him.

Sadly this precious and rare French find was closed when we visited on 20/3/24 but the menu and seating area looked good thanks for existing as vegans we were unfortunate you were closed hence 4stars not 5

So nice to stumble across this spot. Only tried the vegan ice cream. Unfortunately, it was average but still nice to have an option. Otherwise lots of veggie options with falafel and fake meat available for vegans.

Nice little restaurant on the main place of the village. There are now 4 tables on the terrace, and the service is quick if the restaurant is not too busy. It’s mostly vegetarian but you can eat a vegan plate with salad & french fries, and either a steak (spinash steak the day I was there) or falafels, at a reasonable price (14,50€ with a glass of juice and a coffee).

Small but charming place, full vegetarian / vegan menu with lots of options both main course and snacks. The food is good.

Located in a busy square, overwhelming the one-person kitchen. Service is slow (takes a while to order, and even more to receive the order). That said, our simple order (French fries) was nice and it was lovely to sit down in that nice square with something to eat.
