Nice selection of dishes - Edit
From vegan menu they offer 2 soups, 3 mains and 2 desserts. I had a chickpea soup which was delicious and vegan crepes that were a bit plain. It is expensive though - soups 10,5 €, mains 17,5 € and desserts 7 €.

Buon accoglienza - Edit

Nice Moroccan food with vegan alternatives! - Edit
This Moroccan restaurant offers vegan options clearly marked on the menu such as couscous, pastilla and Moroccan pastries. The terrace is nice as well as the staff. The food is good and we don't regret sitting down. Even if the restaurant is not vegetarian, it is worth the detour and it is open all the time.

Delicious vegan tajine - Edit
We arrived late, looking for a decent meal instead of the rather awful tartes flambées everywhere in Colmar. The vegan tajine is one of the best I've had. Not special in the sense of what is in the tajine, but the taste makes you scrape the very last bits from it😉Served with Maroccan bread.

Tasty, but bad value - Edit
I arrived here after a day of cycling. A reservation via phone an hour beforehand went well.
Read moreThe vegan options were clearly marked, I chose a tajine that looked promising.
The staff was direct but friendly and I didn't have to wait too long for the tajine to be served: it was still very hot, a little too hot maybe.
The tajine was well-cooked, well-seasoned and tasted really good! But I found the ingredients just too simple for its €15.50 price tag: carrot, zucchini, potato and peas in a tomato sauce with some bread.
I expected more, a protein-rich component (lentils? chickpeas?) would also have been a nice addition.
On top of that, the portion was limited. The guy next to me who had a non-vegan tajine got a much larger portion. Also, the Diabolo (grenadine) drink was €3.20...
This cosy Moroccan place is OK if you want to eat something tasty & vegan in Colmar, but the value can certainly improve!
Pros: Good taste, friendly staff, cosy Moroccan atmosphere
Cons: Expensive, too basic, rather small portion

We ate here one night, we take cous cous and tajin, it's better option cous cous and for dessert we take a crep. The food is good and it has quality but the service is very very slow... Too much. We arrive at 9:00 and we go out 3 hours after..

good Vegan Options - Edit
Ate here early on Saturday evening: lots of people arriving in succession, but didn't wait too long for the food to arrive. Vegan section on the menu with a choice of both couscous and ravine dishes. Nice, simple salad, good lentil soup with lovely bread, and a tasty vegetable couscous. Very friendly staff and beautiful and interesting decor. Very pleased we chose to eat here in this very meaty town!

Great tajines! - Edit
We tried two tajines (which were great), a salad (a little less) and a tasty dessert. The vegan options were clearly indicated on the menu and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The interior was very cosey. Further, there was also a terrace, unfortunately there is quite a bit street noise. Overall a great experience!

le touareg- breathe of fresh air among foie gras country - Edit
Le Touareg is terrific! many vegetarian and vegan options, even the crepes for desert didnt have eggs or milk. Meals were very fresh and tasty and perfectly spiced. beautifully presented with very nice staff with a sense of humour. good morrocan wine as well. Alsace is a beautiful region but this food is so much more refined and sophisticated and ethical than the fatty, cruel traditional food produced here like foie gras. we were a group of four from amsterdam and montreal.

Great food, great atmosphere - Edit
We had trouble finding vegan fare in Colmar until we found Le Touareg. They listened to our meal preferences and produced two excellent dishes for us, a vegetable couscous and a vegetable tajine. Both were so tasty that the second night we swapped our orders and so each enjoyed two different and delicious meals. The staff were very helpful, despite a bit of a language barrier between us.
