Great and true Thai food

After eating here several times, yesterday we did a home delivery for the first time. We ordered 2 curries, a salad and some corn cakes. Great taste, good portions, friendly service. Would definitely order again. The Yam Jee (salad with mango) is highly recommended.

We enjoyed eating at the restaurant before as well. The setting in an converted basement is very cozy and the service was always excellent. We spent quite some time cycling around Thailand, and can testify that the food at this restaurant is less 'Dutchified' than in most Thai restaurants in Holland.

After reading the first review: we didn't explicitly ask if there was fish/shrimp sauce in the curries, but we assumed them to be vegan. Will ask next time.

Heerlijk eten, mooi en gezellig restaurant

Wat een leuk restaurant is dit, we aten hier op een woensdagavond en het was flink druk.
Heerlijke loempia’s en groentekoekjes als voorgerecht. De curry was helaas niet vegan dus een roerbakgerecht genomen, wat voortreffelijk van smaak van was. Zeker een aanrader om hier gezellig en lekker te tafelen!

Uitstekend

Heerlijk gegeten. Ze hebben een zeer uitgebreide vegetarische menukaart, waar ook veel veganistische gerechten op staan. De obers zijn zeer attent en helpen je met keuzes en geven aan of wat er op tafel komt ook voor jou geschikt is. Er werd ook vegan wijn aangeboden, omdat al mijn tafelgenoten wijn dronken. Topavond!

Pros: Veel vegan opties, Ontzettend attent en behulpzaam personeel, Heerlijk!

Oyster- and fishsauce in 'vegetarian' curries

Nice, cozy restaurant in a basement. We were excited about the curries but accoarding to the staff, the curries are not vegan because they contain fishsauce. I told them that they are also not vegetarian but they told us vegetarians order them all the time. The staff helped us pick something suitable from the menu and we had great meal in the end.

Pros: Helpfull staff, Vegan options, cozy ambiance

Cons: Fishsauce in curries

vegetarian curry over here is not vegetarian.

We decided to eat over here with meat eating family. As a vegan I was happily surprised they have vegan options according to happy cow.
I looked at the vegetarian menu and saw a lot of curry's. Yummy, I love curry's.
I discussed what to eat with the waiter. Yummy, my favorite thai curry.
After some time he came back from the kitchen to tell me that the curry paste used in the vegetarian menus contain shrimps. Bummmmmeeerrr.... :-( I told him this should not be on the vegetarian menu.
The soup was delicious and they where willing to veganize all the vegetarian wok options and I did have a tasty menu. But no curry unfortunately.

Pros: they are willing to discuss what to make, You can take your meat eating friends.

Cons: vegetarian curry over here is not vegetarian., they serve meat.
