Friendly staff but very limited food

I didn't have nearly the success of the previous reviewer. The staff were friendly and definitely understood the vegan requirement - well enough to eliminate all of their lunch dishes for various reasons. All they could make me was a very basic salad of lettuce, beetroot, and tomato, with a dressing and with a side dish of baby potatoes.

The potatoes were genuinely excellent, but the salad was just a simple side-salad scaled up - perfectly edible, but impossible to recommend - and I was a bit disappointed that even when I suggested "any vegetables" the potatoes were the only option offered to me.

Don't count on them being able to improvise anything on the spot that would make you glad you'd picked them. (Maybe with enough advance notice they might be able to plan something; I didn't ask them, though.)

Pros: Friendly

Cons: Lack of options

Helpful veganizing and very tasty

This restaurant had one vegetarian option on their menu. We asked if they could veganize it for us and they were happy too. It was quinoa with ratatouille, some very tasty salty green vegetable, chickpeas and a sauce. It tasted really well, was filling and the best vegan option in the entire town of Gordes. None of the restaurants have vegan options so we were very happy with this one!

Cons: Only one vegetarian dish that could be made vegan
