The food is simple and homey, with good flavors and tons of fresh veggies. The tapas plate was wonderful, with a ton of delicious raw veggies as well as a few warm parts. We also tried the pizza, which is not like a pizza at all except for shape, but which tastes really good.
Read moreThe environment is super relaxing and chill, but so be prepared to wait. Everything is made fresh so it’s a long time for the food to come out. If you’re rushing this is not the spot for you. It’s a place to kick back and relax and chill after hiking or biking, in a peaceful atmosphere where you will want to—and need to be prepared to—spend a longer time.

The food was outstanding. I had the bourga and the patty was so yummy. We were a group of 6 and everyone loved their food. It did take about 30 minutes to prepare though, but it was well worth the wait.

As longtime vegans, we’ve struggled to find satisfying versions of our old favorites, but today that changed. The pizza and grilled cheese were hands down the BEST we’ve ever had! flavorful, comforting, and totally satisfying. Everything is made with fresh, healthy ingredients, and the love shows in every bite. To top it off, the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A must-visit spot, we’ll definitely be back! 🌱💚🍕🧀

Excellent small vegan restaurant in Laurentians - Edit
Although Happy Cow says this is vegetarian / vegan friendly, it is actually a fully vegan restaurant. The owner has notified Happy Cow as of Dec 30, 2023 but the site has not yet changed. The restaurant opened in the spring/summer of 2023 and is very small with only two tables. The two reviews on Happy Cow are 5 star, and the over 20 reviews on Google were 5 star reviews as of Dec 31, 2023. Believe it. Our sandwich & soup were absolutely delicious. The soup was lentil and chunks of lion’s main mushrooms with a mouthwatering broth. The roasted mushroom sandwich was delectable. A must to experience when you’re in Val-David.
