Cute restaurant, lots of vegan options - Edit
Many vegan options, clearly labeled and tasted great but expensive. Staff was very friendly. Food came very quickly (though we were the first ones seated so I’m sure that helped.) Food was great.

High expectations to grand disappointment - Edit
My wife and I ate here last night. The weather was perfect so we decided to sit outside. It was a beautiful setting. We picked an app and dishes from what looked to be a very promising list of dishes. Then the hostess brought out a Bluetooth speaker and set it next to our table. It was much too loud and other diners looked on and grumbled in dismay. I asked our waiter to please turn it down and he asked “turn it down?” He then walked away expressionless. A couple minutes later he came out with another speaker and replaced it. I thanked him and he again walked away like an annoyed robot.
Read moreBy the time dinner was served we had been there waiting about 45 minutes. Actually this was perhaps the haul mark of the evening: waiting. And being ignored. We sat for at least ten minutes before anyone asked if we wanted water or to see a menu.
Our dinner was underwhelming. My wife’s veggie loaf was a blended lump of veggie mush. It lacked flavor or discernible components. Her mashed potatoes were quite tasty. My dinner was flavorful but it, like I’ve stated, was underwhelming. For 23$ I expected it to be really good. It was a mushroom medley over, I think, zucchini pasta. Sounds good, right? Maybe you’d have liked it. I didn’t, really.
We tried our best to remain positive through the whole thing as it was our anniversary but finally by the end when we were just sitting waiting for our check for ten minutes watching our waiter pass back and forth without a glance, I could see my mother in law creeping to the surface of my wife’s face. And I knew we needed to go. Soon. In the end, three different people had to facilitate our payment and departure. We will not be back.
Pros: Great looking menu, Excellent location, Nearby street parking
Cons: Expensive, Poor service, Lackluster food

A Little Gem - Edit
Absolutely wonderful. From the moment I walked in, the place was warm and inviting. The service was excellent and the decor transports you to a lovely little experience.
Read moreThis place serves meat, but also has plenty of vegetarian and vegan options.
I had the carrot ginger soup to start. The texture was smooth and delicate and the right balance of ginger was used. Magnificent. My entrée was the Vegan Gumbo. The flavors were perfect and the vegetables tender. I would order this again in a heartbeat.I ordered a coffee after dinner and was very pleased that they had almond milk as an option.
The only come is that the entree came out a little too quickly, and there were no vegan desserts.
Overall, excellent!
Pros: Excellent food, Quaint atmosphere, Wonderful service
Cons: No vegan dessert options, Small
