Good food but not very vegan-friendly - Edit
I tried this place with great expectations to find vegan food. However, there are only a few cold entries that are vegan without asking to remove one ingredient. Even the eggplant caviar contains yogurt cream, as well as the only vegetarian sandwich (falafel). If you are vegan, precise you want the sandwich without the cream. They can make a vegetarian mezze but not so easily a vegan one.
Apart from that limited choice in terms of vegan food, the falafel sandwich and the hummus were really good. The owners are friendly and the place is very conveniently located near place Bouffay around which stands a huge number of bars.
Pros: good hummus and falafel, central, friendly staff
Cons: not very vegan-friendly, yogurt cream in various dishes

beautiful home-made food - Edit
The restaurant is very cute and small, with some tables inside and some outside on the terrace in front. You can eat there or have take-away. The lady who runs the place is very friendly and takes great pleasure in preparing everything fresh every day. We went there for lunch and had a delicious falafel sandwich for 5 euros. The sandwich is quite big and will keep you going the whole day. The lady was very helpful with our questions about ingredients. Many vegan options also. You can have other vegetarian and vegan dishes as well. She has a few home-made desserts every day,on that day 2 out of 3 were without egg, so vegetarian.
Her hummus is finger-licking good and completely vegan, the falafels themselves were fresh and crunchy, the salad and veggies inside was very fresh and tasty.Situated in the heart of the city (quartier bouffay), very convenient for a day-trip in Nantes.
Pros: Fresh food, very friendly owner and staff, cheap
Cons: serving meat in restaurant
