Fatty and expensive. But tasty - Edit
My friend and I shared a 5€ savoury pie with spinach, a bit expensive for the small size. It was tasty but very fatty. I also found it weird that we got our food served in plastic trays with plastic forks to eat with, and water in plastic cups. Not very ecological.

Cons: Expensive, the food is served in non-ecological pl

Good place - Edit
Nice place and really friendly staff. Our main meal was good but our desserts were mediocre. The vegan creme brule was not good to be honest.

Fantastic restaurant food to take away! - Edit
Paris has a fair amount of places that make nice food to take away, but they are mostly burger places.
Read moreLe Potager du Marais has long been one of my favourite vegan restaurants and the food here is straight from their chef, it is the same high quality as their restaurant and cheaper (in fact the prices are about the same as the burger places)—they even have their famous crème brûlée! Their other signature dishes are there too, the lasagna, the aubergine surprise, carrot cake... (in line with their seasonal menu). You can get a menu with a nice salad/mix of veggies as an accompaniment, they'll give you sauces and everything to take away. The menu also had their delicious lemonade which is tasty and not horribly sweet (you could choose water or another drink).
It was middle of the afternoon so I was able to sit inside on the table they have, but there are benches you could sit at at République, everything is packed really well to prevent spills and keep the food warm. They did mention plans to install tables outside. Le Potager can sometimes be too busy to get a table so this is a great chance to try their food. And they're open throughout the pm which is great for people like me who have different schedules or heck, even want to drop in and get a sweet treat.
And just like the Potager, they are so lovely. Even the inside of the place is pretty and clean. I really can't recommend this place enough, it's almost like a vegan delicatessen, you can't get better takeaway food than this.
Pros: Amazing food, Perfectly packed to eat out, Lovely people
Cons: I hope they bring in the juices

Fantastic vegan take-away - Edit
Le Potager du Marais, my personal favorite restaurant in Paris, has recently opened a Take-away store very close to Republic Square.
Read moreThe menu is very similar to the restaurant's menu, which means you can find soups, tarts, most of the main dishes (including the always yummy lasagna!), and even the desserts and drinks. All for about half the price that you would pay if you would eat in the restaurant.
Ah, and they can even warm the food for you, if you need to.
There is just one table, which means that if you are lucky you would be able to eat there, but given the popularity of Le Potager, I wouldn't count on that.
On top of the great variety of 100% vegan & organic dishes, the location is great, very close to Place de la Republique.
Not to miss when visiting Paris!
Pros: quality vegan food, great variety, comfortable location
