Good pâtisserie and shop - Edit
Le Petit Colibri is a fully vegan pâtisserie near Part Dieu train station. They have nice-looking baked goods and French cakes (the tartlet ones). I Imagine the store is also useful if you're looking for vegan products (they have groceries from Veganz and other vegan food brands). It's just for takeaway, not for eating in. I liked the cupcake I had, but I think Zoï is even better.

delicious sweet treats & cool grocery store - Edit
i used to get my B12 from their store all the time. i’ve never taken the time to check everything they sell but they have a good selection of really good quality products. i also like to get a pastry from there for special occasions, holidays or even when i’m just walking around part-dieu. i went for the first time on dec 31st in the afternoon to have tea and pastries with a friend and it was so good!

The first vegan pastry shop in lyon - Edit
This is the only vegan pastry shop in lyon, also providing a lot of vegan products such as cheeses, meatless meat, an many other things. The owners are such sweet persons that make everything for you to be satsified. Their vegan bakery is delicious and reminds us of the good french bakery we were used to eat ! They take special orders for birthdays, weddings...

Patisserie Le Colibri - Edit
Excellent vegan bakery. They offer cute little vegan cakes (the little fancy ones you see throughout French bakeries) and vegan croissants. Get there early if you have your heart set on a certain item. I got there at 10AM and they were nearly sold out of their croissants (I bought the last three).

Wonderful cake! - Edit
I ordered online their Edelweiss cake for 4-6 people. We were actually only 3 people, but we had half at lunch and the rest after dinner. It was a great cake, very tasty, and satisfying to the rest of the family who are not vegan. Very likely that we'll head back again for the next cake - very tasty!

Pretty great - but not the best in Lyon - Edit
We went here for breakfast and tried quite a branch of things. The man behind the counter was kind & friendly and they also have a spacious & cozy seating area in the back. The croissant as well as the pain au chocolat were okay but definitely not the best I tried, a bit dry I'd say, and as their bakery is located in Villeurbanne rather than in the building, they didn't come freshly out of the oven. The tartes were great although, as always, difficult to eat. Very special is their offer of vegan macarons and also other made-in-house sweets.
Read moreMy personal favorite was their tarte chantilly (with chestnut). But the ones at Zoï are still a bit better (while also being more expensive).
My personal downside nonetheless is that they served us everything on disposable cardboard plates accompanied by disposable wooden forks - and, that they use Nespresso capsules.
I'd still recommend this place to you very much.
Pros: Friendly salesman, Seating area
Cons: Nespresso capsule machine, Disposable plates & cutlery
