Average tasting food, beautifully presented. - Edit

It’s encouraging to find a restaurant with a separate vegan menu. This place had around 8 vegan dishes which are sufficiently varied that you’ll find something appealing.

The craftsmanship and presentation of the meals is exceptional. My problem was that the taste was a little flat and disappointing. The meals look a lot nicer than they tasted. Artistic without substance. The portion sizes were also very small. We had vegetable soup, curried noodles, ravioli and chips. It disappoints me to report that the chips were the tastiest.

The staff are very friendly; attentive and helpful.

The restaurant is clean and smart. There is seating indoors and outdoors on an elevated street-side terrace. It’s a classy looking place. The venue appeared to be child friendly and there also seemed to be some street side parking (we walked there).

Superb Vegan options - Edit

I love this place! Sophisticated, friendly and above all amazing food and choices. Will definitely return.

Unfortunately cannot rate 5 star as such rating is only allowed for fully vegan restaurants. Nevertheless 5* in my eyes.
Definitely recommend this place.

A petit gem - Edit

Great food. Warm and friendly front-of -house team. Really reasonable prices for both food and drink. Separate vegan menu.

We found Le Petite Bistrot as a result of a recommendation from the owner of Adeje's vegan restaurant, Buena Vida.

The vegan menu is well thought-out and the food is beautifully presented. We found the quality of the dishes to be better than the 2 local purely vegan restaurants.

They're also happy to go off-menu if you want something simple like pasta (they did spaghetti in tomato sauce for my daughter). They confirmed that all their dried pasta contains no egg.

The restaurant is quite small and is always busy, so best to book in advance (either by phone or on their website). This doesn't affect the quality of service though. We found the staff to be really attentive and friendly.

If you're in the Adeje area, give Le Petit Bistrot a go. You won't be disappointed.
