Decadent desserts!

Le Pain Quotidien had an amazing interior set-up and design. Very authentic and earthy-feeling. The desserts were delicious and I had a couple of vegan options to choose from. I got the vegan carrot cake and it was fantastic! I went with family who are all not vegans and they loved the food too. Our table had a cookbook on it by the owner, which included many vegan dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful and everyone seemed to be thoroughly enjoying their food and the atmosphere.

Not bad

I had the lentil soup and my husband had the lentil bowl, both were pretty good. Prices are pretty expensive. Vegan options are clearly labeled on the menu which is nice.

Pros: Vegan options labeled

Cons: Expensive

Soup of the Day FTW!

I frequent this place on my lunch breaks when I'm looking for something healthy-ish and budget-friendly. Most of the menu is quite pricey but the Soup of the Day is where it's at! All Soup of the Day options are vegan and come with two varieties of vegan bread slices as well. My favorite is the Lemon Lentil! All are quite filling and delicious. Saw that they added a vegan Gazpacho to the menu for the spring/summer as well, but have yet to try it. The atmosphere here is nice and the staff are knowledgeable and pleasant, but the place can get busy. I have also tried the smoothies and avocado toast which are also great but only if you're feeling a little more spendy. Bonus: they also have a mini vegan carrot cake (bite-size) for dessert if you have a sweet tooth!

Pros: vegan options clearly labelled, delicious

Cons: pricey
