Tasty pastries!

They were so sweet and tasty! It might be a bit hard to notice at first but vegan ones were marked

3,5/5☆

The staff wasn’t really friendly and vegan patisserie options weren’t clearly marked. However, it was still mostly worth it since it turned out to be really hard to find a vegan croissant in Paris.

Pros: Cozy and spacious , Delicious vegan croissant

Cons: Pricey, Unclear marking

Mixed feelings

Ordered the brunch with full vegan options. The granola (pictured with the berries on top), they said they could do with oat milk instead of yoghurt... it came with yoghurt. I didn't realise till I'd had some. 😔 the trusted bread in the basket tasted like it had a honey glaze. I checked with staff, they assured me it was vegan. A sachet of butter with the bread also didn't instil confidence.
Otherwise, it was fine, nice venue, prompt service. Was swithering on awarding 2 or 3 stars.

Pros: Lovely venue, comfortable seats, nice atmosphere , Prompt service

Cons: Given yoghurt instead of oatmilk , Honey glaze on one of the breads

The standard Le Pain Quotidien experience

In the last couple of years, Le Pain Quotidien has become a bit more vegan friendly, as they now offer vegan pastries in addition to food (and a couple of cakes).

But the overall experience hasn't changed much: slow service, and not the friendliest you will find in Paris.

In any case, it's always a good stop for a coffee break, or a safe choice for vegan food if for some reason you cannot make it to the dozens of fully vegan places in Paris.

Pros: location, opening hours, good value

Cons: not all vegan, service just ok

Limited vegan choices

Nice place but only two vegan choices on the menu. Had the avocado sandwich which was nice but not really worth EUR 12.

Great as always

Love to visit Le Pain in the states and this was just as great. Had an English menu and very accommodating staff. Had the soup of the day (butternut squash), mixed greens salad, and the torsade, all delicious. Also note (since I was confused) this is part of but technically not inside the mall, it faces out onto a street.

Good lunch spot before catching at train at les Halles

I was anxiously scanning the lunch boards for vegan options around les Halles with no luck. Luckily my boyfriend spotted Le Pain Quotidien! I had a really tasty avocado on sourdough bread, and a cappuccino with oat milk. It was really helpful that all vegan options were clearly marked on the menu, also my non-vegan boyfriend and dad were both able to eat happily. The staff were really lovely but very busy, unfortunately my dad had to ask 3 times for some tomato ketchup and had almost finished by the time it arrived.

Pros: Vegan options clearly marked (v) , Good lunch spot when dinning with non-vegans

Nice place

It's a nice place to eat vegan pastries but not many choices and it's really expensive.
The location is very good and the are a lot of seatings.

Cons: Expensive

Le Pain Quotidien

They had loads of vegan baked goods and I was shocked at how delicious they were. I had vegan croissant and vegan torsade and was completely blown away. Both were sweet. I do prefer savory croissants, but LPQ did a good job with theirs despite it being a bit sweet. I have dreams about that vegan torsade though!

Nice but pricey

The place is nice and big, food is nice but honestly doesn't worth the heavy price... for this price I would expect something more subtle/complex in flavours and less simple it's very expensive.

The biggest Pain Quotidien in Paris

This place is probably the biggest Pain Quotidien of Paris in term of seatings.
The food is as good as in the other Pain Quotidien.

Pros: Lots of seating places, Convenient location, Friendly staff

Cons: It can be very busy because of it’s location

nice place

Nice place, part of a chain, with carbon neutral policy, using organic ingredients and with well labelled vegetarian and vegan choices. There are some vegan desserts too. I had a Chili sin carne, topped with a avocado mash, that was so tasty and a vegan blueberry muffin (a little bit dry for me, but at the end was ok).

Pros: Carbon neutral, organic restaurant, Vegan choices are well labelled, Tasty food

Good vegan and vegetarian choice for lunch dinner and pastry

Though not purely vegan or vegetarian, this place offers choice of vegan and vegetarian food. I tried an apple and cinnamon tart, which was delicious. The café crème was also very good. In this centrally located café, the service was polite and efficient.

Yummy porridge

Delicious fruity porridge and tasty soy milk latte! Unfortunately the vegan brunch option was all Mediterranean style and non of it tasted fresh. The falafels had an odd frozen/packaged taste to them. Just stick to the baguette and porridge.

Pros: Porridge, Breads

Cons: Expensive , Limited options

Central location, fast and friendly

Ideal location for a quick break during a shopping day, this restaurant next to "Les Halles" supermarket offers some vegetarian and vegan options. The place is not too comfortable when it's cold outside since the door is always open, but service is fast and friendly. Vegan / vegetarian options are labelled. Food is freshly prepared and tasty.

Pros: Central location, veg options labelled, English me

Brunch sympa

Les choix végétaliens et végétariens sont bien inscrits sur la carte. Brunch 100% végétalien disponible. Possibilité de remplacer le lait par du lait de soja dans les boissons chaudes.
