Reliable option

The location and decor is nice and there are enough vegan options for everyone to have something different. Portion sizes are quite small. The VLT Bun is a good option (it’s a burger!) and the avocado on toast is okay. Blueberry muffin is good too.

Pros: The chain is everywhere , Nice decor , Reliable consistent food

Cons: Not so many vegan options

Le Pain Quotidien

I have eaten at Le Pain Quotidien in quite a few countries, including many locations in London. I honestly use this as a back up option, usually for business lunches (before COVID and now that they are resuming) or if there is no other place with vegan friendly options nearby. I typically opt for the avocado toast made vegan and the vegan lentil/dal dish. The food is always really nice looking and the taste is average. There are far better vegan options in London, so if you are visiting and you have time, I'd suggest finding something more unique since this is an international chain. If not, Le Pain Quotidien is a suitable option that will get the job done.

Free food

I went unknowingly after the closing time and went out with a free vegan hazelnut flute bread! Such a delight and nice to be shown kindness :)

Pros: Kind staff

Surprisingly great for vegans

I remember this chain from the US but had never gone in the UK. Decided to check it out and was shocked at how many good vegan options they have! The chili sin carne is awesome! They also have gluten free bread which is amazing, and make a great oat milk latte. Will definitely be coming back for lunch frequently. Everything on the menu is carefully labeled and the staff is friendly.

Pros: Tons of vegan options , Don’t charge extra for vegan milk , Gluten free bread available

Cons: None so far
