Centrally located in Central Park - Edit
Le Pain Quotidien (LPQ) is a chain of restaurants that has locations throughout NYC. They have three branches inside Central Park: one to the east of the Sailboat Pond, a small outlet to the south of the Sailboat Pond, and also one north of Sheep's Meadow (and south of Frisbee Hill). Only the one by Sheep's Meadow has indoor seating.
Read moreThe vegan offerings at the branches are quite limited--I did not see a bunch of the items mentioned in the Happy Cow blurb (such as the Plant-based "egg" Frittata) listed in the menu. To be sure, the little they do offer is good--besides, the reason to go here is less for the food than for the surroundings.
