Le Pain Quotidien

New Review: LPQ is more vegan friendly and the stars of the show come from the bakery. I love their vegan croissants but they are a bit high-priced for what they are. This location is really lovely for brunch.

Old Review:
I have eaten at Le Pain Quotidien in quite a few countries, including many locations in London. I honestly use this as a back up option, usually for business lunches (before COVID and now that they are resuming) or if there is no other place with vegan friendly options nearby. I typically opt for the avocado toast made vegan and the vegan lentil/dal dish. The food is always really nice looking and the taste is average. There are far better vegan options in London, so if you are visiting and you have time, I'd suggest finding something more unique since this is an international chain. If not, Le Pain Quotidien is a suitable option that will get the job done.

Yum!

Nice choice of vegan things, such as croissants, raisin rolls and carrot cake. Also good coffee.

Vegan option not vegan

Ordered a vegan breakfast option with different types of breads and jams. This vegan option breakfast did include milkbased butter and a chocolate spread containing milk powder. The only spread that was vegan was the jam even though the option was marked as vegan in the menu. The bread was good though.
