Few vegan options - Edit
I was not impressed by the vegan options. If there is no other options, I might come back but probably not.

Good Bread, nice space - Edit
Was just here in late January 2012. Here's my Le Pain Quotidien - Larchmont Village for HappyCow.
Read moreIt's located on the walking/shopping street Larchmont Blvd. My husband and I had come here to checkout Cafe Gratitute (some blocks north, same street) and BabyCakes (across the way, also on Larchmont).
Le Pain Quotidien is a chain restaurant but with a "non-chain" feel. The interior at most all their LA area locations gives off a very rustic and country home feel with lots of honey oak interior, like you are inside a modern wooden country house.
The menus are the same at their LA locations. Plenty of ovo-lacto vegetarian items; several vegan ones which are marked with a carrot sign.
The restaurant always features fresh baked bread and pastries. On the day I came here there were 2 vegan muffins and 1 vegan apple pastry. My family enjoys the bread loaves (spelt, wheat, nuts, and other varieties). Not cheap but very delicious.
This location is particularly spacious and deep inside. A extended wooden communal table starts just a few steps by the entrance and takes you all the way in to the bakery counter in the center of the interior. Some tables are lined up along both sides of the walls with even more seating in the very back of the restaurant.
A good place for soup, hummus, quinoa salad, and lots of bread.
