A Promise Is A Promise

I have made it a personal vow that whenever I happen upon a Le Pain that I haven’t had the pleasure of visiting before, I must stop and avail myself of a croissant. So, despite the fact that I was heading for lunch elsewhere, as I passed by here I was obliged to perform my duty. Always tasty, always fantastic value for money, and always tempting to buy more than one, this particular pastry had the added bonus of being freshly baked and therefore perfectly warm. I will, one day, stop longer here to make more of their other offerings (particularly the chocolate cake), but for now this obeisance to my ritual was sufficient.

Inclusive vegan brunch combo

Came to try the vegan brunch that they've added recently and it did not disappoint. For 79 dhs you get juice, hot beverage, granola parfait with vegan yogurt, small salad, three dips and a bread basket with a vegan croissant. Really filling! The croissant is divine and comes with choice of dark chocolate spread and jam.

They also have a vegan French toast which was quiet delicious. Other items that can be made vegan are an acai bowl, avocado toast and porridge.

Sadly the chickpea scramble is no longer served. Hope they bring it back! They also used to have a vegan carrot cake but that's no longer there.

Vegan Croissant heaven ✨

LPQ has the most amazing vegan croissant in Dubai so I try to come here nearly every weekend because I'm afraid it will be discontinued if not enough people have it. Love their avo on toast as well and they recently added a vegan brunch. Portion size was really good. Came with a croissant, juice, hot beverage, side salad, hummus, beetroot hummus, smashed avocado and coconut yoghurt parfait. I really enjoyed the coconut yoghurt parfait and the manager told me you can now also order the parfait in the vegan version as a separate menu item.

Vegan carrot cake is actually really good. Recommended.

Pros: They have few vegan latte options

Cons: Used to have more vegan options
