Great experience! - Edit
This is a cute little (CASH ONLY) Vietnamese/Chinese spot to get some relatively cheap food in the center of Tours. I was the only person in the restaurant even at 8pm, but towards 9pm many more people filled in. The waitress was very kind, and helped me figure out the menu and answered any questions I had. She said the entire menu is vegan, but some specials might have egg, and some dishes have the option to add egg (so it’s easy to avoid!).
Read moreI ordered spring rolls, the plat du jour (sautéed seitan green beans), and a side of rice. I lamented to the waitress the fact that I hadn’t found any spicy food in France, and she said she would make sure my food was well-spiced! The spring rolls were basic fare, but fresh and had a nice spicy dipping sauce, as promised. My main course was also delicious, I was hoping for junky Chinese-eque food and that was what I got! Nicely flavored seitan and green beans, and even if it wasn’t anything special, it hit the spot.
Overall great vibes, and the waitress (probably owner as well) just made my night by being so helpful and kind! Don’t go in expecting fancy food, and you surely won’t be disappointed. Service is a little slow, but prices are fair and the food is yummy.
Pros: Supremely kind waitress, Good food for the price, Nearly all vegan
