Loved a vegan desert option in the Finistère - Edit
Since I couldn’t go to Brest, I thought I wouldn’t eat vegan pastries that are not homemade. But a local (my grandmother) brought me here, and I was surprised to see 2 options of pastry.
Read moreThe cherry mousse (picture) was not clearly labeled vegan, but the vendor said it was (and told us most of the ingredients). I ate both pastries, and it was delicious for my taste ! not too sweet, but very mild and delicate. My favorite was the rhubarb-granola, you don’t taste any sourness.
If you like mild flavors, don’t like when it’s too sweet, and LOVE sourdough bread (because theirs is amazing), you’re gonna love it.
Plus, if you go there, you get to see a very lovely view on the sea because Le Fournil is located on a hill.
