Not so traditional French bistro serving vegan breakfast and lunch with daily dishes, salads, soup, dessert. Turns into a tapas bar in the evening. Open Mon 12:00am-1:30am, Tue-Sun 9:00am-12:00am, Wed-Sun 12:00am-1:30am. Closed Mon.

need to revise opening hours - Edit

The opening hours here are incorrect. They close around 1:30pm on Mondays - I walked in the rain for an hour to get there, arrived at 1:35 and was told they were closed. I didn't find them particularly friendly. It wasn't their fault but they could have been nicer. Looks like a good pub atmosphere. Area a tad dodgy to walk to from the canal more south

Absolute Heaven - Edit

Paris is fast becoming a vegan paradise and this spot could be the creme de la creme. The soup was to die for. Bread so fresh felt like it was straight from the baker's oven. I had the veggie steak and it was absolutely dynamite. Bursting with flavor. The greens and juice could not be any more fresh. Top notch service and friendly atmosphere as well.

Pros: Taste, Uniqueness, French cuisine veganized

Cons: wait could be a lil long for some, lil pricey

Great Vegan Brunch - Edit

Visited in December 2016 for brunch on the weekend.

The brunch includes 1 hot drink and 1 fresh juice, 1 cheese platter, 1 main plate and 1 dessert plate. Everything was very good and the food had kind of a home cooked feeling. I especially enjoyed the creative home-made cheeses with very interesting flavors.
All for €22, which was a fantastic deal.

The service was nice, and the atmosphere very pleasant.
Le Faitout is not evidently vegan, it might be a good place to bring your non-vegan friends.

In summary, it's certainly worth visiting.
Moreover, if weather allows it, you can enjoy a stroll at the nearby Buttes-Chaumont park.

Pros: home made cheese, friendly service, working hours

Cons: none
