Le Crobag - Hauptbahnhof Station

Before it was hard to get vegan options at HPB. Now, however, there's a bakery selling warm vegan pretzels and another location offering several savoury vegan snacks

Crobag is not excellent but at one point they were indeed the only ones serving a vegan sandwich at the train station (basil-tofu with tomato).

Recently they started offering vegan chocolate muffins too, with raspberry filling, very lush!

For savoury there are better options, but if you're craving for a little vegan decadent treat to take on your trip, then these muffins will exceed your expectations.

Since it is almost the only option to get something vegan at Berlin's central train station (except the supermarket "Kaiser's" two floors beneath Crobag to buy veggies), let's keep the listing. They do not embrace veganism but they do have two vegan options, that's it, and both contain garlic. Open very long hours which is also good (and unlike most other shops in Berlin central train station which all close quite early).

Excellent location in the amazing Berlin Hbf. I have to admit that the vegan baguettes are both generously filled with either basil infused tofu chunks and succulent buffalo tomatoes at €3.60 or a herb sauce and gherkin for €2.95. They are what they are and are pretty damn decent to boot. Perfect for taking with you on the train, which is exactly what we needed. That's about it though. Only giving it two cows as this is not really a veggie listing.
