After eating a lot of fries and bakery food on holiday in Belgium, and drinking lots of delicious cherry beer, we felt we needed some health food! Le botaniste is great - only a few items to choose from but done excellently. Decent prices. The tibetan mama sauce is crazily delicious.

We had the Chili sin carne, the Tajine, a mushroom blend with Reishi and a raspberry-passion fruit raw cake. Everything was okay, but we definitely had better Chilis. It was nice though that there were multiple ingredients in the bowl such as chickpeas, quinoa, lentils and of course chili and onions. The raw cake was pretty good. The interior reminded us to a mixture of pharmacy and elegant old time housing.

We had lunch here today after a long journey from London. It's a great concept - basically you can choose from 5 or 6 bowls based on different countries' cuisines. We had the curry bowl and the chilli bowl. Both delicious and served quickly. The brownies are nice too - more like chocolate puddings in my opinion.

Wat een mooi gebouw, als je binnenkomt ruik je de heerlijke gerechten meteen. Je kunt uit van alles kiezen, pasta, salade, chili sin carne. Alles is erg gezond, daar moet je van houden. De aankleding van het restaurant is erg mooi. Overal is aan gedacht.

Voor de lunch hier heel fijn een warme maaltijd kunnen eten. De humus vinden we wat minder lekker maar misschien is dat omdat we andere humus gewend zijn. De maaltijden waren erg lekker. Het restaurant zelf heeft een hele mooie vormgeving.

Indulgent cosy food that tastes and feel good. From making your own bowl to going for one of the specials, you won't be disappointed.
Read moreThe menu is fully vegan and almost fully gluten free. I went for the Botanique menu, composed of a soup of the day (tomato-paprika) and one half bowl (the fall salad with vegan tuna). They also offer a lot of sides and desserts.
It was so tasty that I came back a second time during my stay to try their Tajine bowl.
Place is also very cosy and staff very friendly. I fully recommend.

We had a delicious curry and a tajine plus lots of other bits like turmeric onion and green pea hummus. All tasted very fresh and was seasoned very well. Portion sizes were okay, nothing out of the ordinary. We left feeling full and satisfied.

I knew the NY branch of Le Botaniste, so I was very curious to try the Bruges one and I was not disappointed. We went there for dinner, and we sat outside because of the heat, although the interior space looks very nice. We got the sushi rolls and some veggie balls (which were both delicious, although the dips were a bit too salty) and a tagine as main course, that on the contrary was a bit bland. I love the concept and the freshness of the (soul) food they serve, but sometimes it’s a bit of a “hit and miss” with the amount of spices they use.
