Beautiful location in view of the Customs House. Tarte flambé was wonderful and an on menu item so no problem ordering this one vegan option. Friendly service.

„Le Bistro“ only serves tarte flambées/Flammkuchen.
Read moreThey have only one vegan option which means they skip the cream and the cheese and add a bit of oil. The filling is not very nice - it’s with seeds and not many vegetables.
The tarte was just dry and not comparing with the regular tartes, which looked tasty.
And it was even more expensive than the vegetarian version, as it had less toppings.
It was not possible to get a sweet vegan tarte flambée. They said, they can not skip the sweet cream.
Not a good choice for vegans.
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: The toppings, The price, The flexibility

Flavour wise, the tarte flambé I had was quite underwhelming, but I am appreciative that this restaurant has vegan options to begin with! It’s not common to find vegan French food in smaller towns, but it’s a decent option when dining with a larger non-vegan group. Friendly & accommodating staff

We came in anticipating having a beer, but wanted a little something to eat. It was absolutely perfect, the crust was cracker thin and crisp. Just delicious.
