Great Vegan-Friendly Mediterranean Spot in Augusta 🫒

Laziza was packed when we visited, which is always a good sign. I ordered a rice bowl with the fried cauliflower, and it was excellent—flavorful, satisfying, and generously portioned.

For vegans, their garlic sauce is vegan, but be aware that the tahini sauce contains dairy, which is unusual for a Mediterranean restaurant. The staff were helpful with answering questions about ingredients.

Definitely don’t skip the lentil soup. It was delicious, hearty, and surprisingly filling. Between the soup and bowl, it made for a great meal.

If you’re looking for vegan options in Augusta, this is a solid choice with plenty of customizable menu items!
