Super fresh, tasty and healthy - Edit
Delicious falafel and salad bar with the falafel cooked fresh in front of you. Pick from salad items, pickles, veg, spicy potatoes and choice of hummus and sauces. I’d recommend getting a meal deal with a fresh juice, Ali’s special juice is delicious. Entirely veggie and loads of vegan options including baclava. Wraps are a decent size and jam packed. I would highly recommend.

Falafel! - Edit
Remember when Falafel Al Hana was on Claypath and you could roll out of Loveshack and make your way home with some pita? No? I'm sure it was good times. Lazeez is actually better and of course, easier to recollect unless you're rolling around drunk in the middle of the day. I've been a few times now for very generously sized wraps and salad boxes. The food is super fresh and the falafel is fried to order. Well worth the little wait. They also sell a selection of fresh juices, in addition to being staffed by lovely, friendly souls.

Best falafel in Durham - Edit
The falafel are freshly cooked while your salad/wrap is prepped-they’re amazing! Crunchy and tasty (with coriander seeds!). And you can pick whatever you like in your wrap/salad eg aubergine, all sorts of pickles etc. Everything’s super fresh, and the guy really friendly. Oh and fresh juices too!

Falatasaray - Edit
Ever since Falafel Al Hana disappeared from the scene quite a while ago, Durham has been missing a veggie falafel joint. Now we have one on the scenic new Riverwalk. The falafel pieces are something to behold in terms of size and taste. We ordered a banquet of delights consisting of a falafel and salad box, spicy potatoes and vine leaves with a pitta bread thrown in for good measure along with a pot of spicy chilli sauce and humous. Mega tasty and excellent value. On a second visit a couple of weeks later we picked up a pair of loaded falafel wraps to take-away and eat by the river with a couple of beers. Packed with fresh salad items such as pickles, chilli peppers, roasted aubergine, courgette and mushrooms boy were they good. Falafel and I always seem have a history of enjoying ourselves. I can see this place becoming a regular of mine.

This is a brilliant addition to Durham serving seriously good fresh falafel. The accompanying salads and vegetables are excellent quality with so much variety. You can choose whatever you want to have in your wrap or box. It’s also such a clean and friendly place.
