Many vegan bakery items, few vegan drinks

This bakery cafe offers a variety of veganized bakery items, mostly scones, cookies, brownies but also plain, toast-like bread (식빵). Their selection changes day by day and they have a couple of curious items, such as perilla leaf scone, vegan cheddar cheese scone or black sesame brownie. Check their Instagram to find out what's available when you visit.

The drinks, however, are made with cow's milk by default and some of the (e.g. powdered) ingredients also contain dairy.❗️ You have to specify if you need a vegan drink and then have a choice between soy and almond milk for beverages featuring milk (without additional charge).

It was a bummer that all bakery items were packaged into plastic. I got a scone for take-away and it had turned soggy by the time I got to eat it, but it was dry and crumbly inside. It must have been better when it was fresh and not packaged into plastic... The bakery items looked interesting and I wish I could've tried more.

They also offer housemade waffles made fresh upon order. The batter contains chick peas and is very dense and filling. An interesting attempt at making vegan waffles, but I wouldn't recommend these to my friends...

The interior is bright, clean, comfortable and warm, which invites for hanging out. There is a lot of space for sitting. Btw, they bake on location! #Veganuary

Pros: taste ok, nice location

Cons: everything packaged into plastic , milk powder in e.g. Matcha latte base

Nice cafe with decent options but tell them you want soy milk

They had a decent selection of sweet baked goods. Muffins, scones, breads... would have liked to see some cake on offer. They do have chickpea waffles which is a unique offering. Unfortuately, cows milk is their default for coffee drinks (which is odd for a fully vegan place). If you dont tell you want soy you get cow... so had to drop a point for that.
