Good Vibe, Great Falafel

Layla's has a fun vibe (think pop culture/punk) and tasty food. It is Mediterranean/fusion and their vegan options are well labeled. I almost always get the spicy falafel wrap with batata harra (Lebanese spicy potatoes), but the Unicorn Burger is very good as well. They usually have good beers on draft and a nice cocktail list.

Pros: Good vegan options, Fun, chill vibe, Good drink selection

All the right things

Server asked all the right questions. Clearly labeled menu of American and Mediterranean cuisine. Truly excellent service in a great atmosphere.

Yum!

My red lentil buger was on point! Falafel fries were good too! Used the app to order my pick-up for dinner & it was done in 10 minutes. Super customer service & I loved the atmosphere inside & out! Outdoor seating is street side & in the back for a chiller vibe. Appreciated the off street parking.

Pros: Great options, App to order to-go, Great atmosphere

Cons: None

Repeat costumer

Been three times. Each time the server has been helpful and patience with all the ‘vegan’ questions. The menu is also marked well with options. Have had many of their specials but tonight had their signature “The Unicorn”. The cashew cheese is great and the pretzel bun soft!

Bugs in food

The service was extremely slow. We waited 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at our table. Then, after we ordered, the server came back 20 minutes later to tell us the kitchen lost our ticket. She told us the kitchen would put in a rush order for our hummus plate, small salad and two burgers, which still took another 20 minutes. The hummus plate and salad were brought out first while they took another 5 minutes to plate burgers. The food was okay until one of the members at our table noticed a June beetle coming out of his burger! The Sprite was extremely flat but the hummus was really good. Management was unavailable and it was noticed.

Pros: Hummus was good

Cons: Bugs in food, Slow service, No management

Amazing veg burgers

Partner and I tried both veggie burgers and were blown away. The beet burger had crispy edges and a juicy center. I think all or most of their sides are vegan. The atmosphere is fun and vibrant

Pros: Veg burgers, Vegan sides, Hip
