Pleasant selection

We stopped by to see the beautiful views and stayed for homemade beans with toast, and a slice of toast. We were pleasantly surprised with the vegan options😄

Pros: Beautiful views , Pleasant selection of food

Cons: Cakes a bit pricey

Great experience

The few vegan options on the menu were quite substantial for the price. We had the zucchini soup and panini, both were great. Also great view over the lake.

Tea time 🫖

I wouldn’t recommend coming for the food (as a vegan) but the location is beautiful for morning or afternoon tea. I did enjoy a cup of lavender & green tea with a piece of vegan chocolate hazelnut cake. The cake was nice but too much sugary icing on top for my liking. The walk around the garden is quite pretty. They do sell dark vegan lavender chocolate in the store.

Pros: Pretty garden setting , Lavender shop

Cons: Minimal vegan options

Side of mushrooms for lunch?

I had asked if beef could be swapped for mushrooms with a noodle dish and was advised to just get a side of mushrooms for lunch.
As if a side of mushrooms is absolutely not a meal.
The waitress had gone into the kitchen to ask the chef who sent her out with that response , she was lovely -I’m blaming the chef 😂

Pros: Lovely place , Beautiful scenery from cafe, Friendly girls working there

Cons: Only one vegan option- burger , Not very accommodating for Vegan diet
