Good to have options but could be improved

When we dined at lunch there were three main options - eggplant schnitzel, mushroom burger and a soba noodle dish. We chose the eggplant schnitzel. Good portion and chips were excellent. Two pieces of eggplant - one thin, crispy and delicious the other thick, tough and chewy.
The one dessert option was quince, chocolate mousse and vanilla icecream. While the individual elements were fine it didn’t work as a combination. And the presentation of the mousse….well…. let’s just say there were many jokes.
With a little more attention to the dishes everything could have been great.

Pros: More than one option for mains , Open fire places - great in Winter

Cons: Lacking attention to detail
