Specialty Espresso / Coffee bar in the city center of Schiedam. Coffee bar includes non-dairy milks (oat, soy, and coconut) for coffee and tea and a vegan base for the chai tea lattes. House-made pastries and daily lunch cards include vegan options. Gelatin or animal based e-numbers are never used. Staff speaks Dutch and English. Open Wed-Fri 10:00-16:00, Sat 10:00-16:30. Open first Sun of month 12-4pm.

Our place to go - Edit
As a vegan from Schiedam this is our place to go for coffee, cakes and lunch. My 4yr old son loves to go here too. If you like coffee try the 'zwart nazareth'!

delicious „healthy“ cakes & nice atmosphere - Edit
This is a real gem in a not vegan-friendly environment (and in a rather ugly city...)! It‘s cosy and has a relaxed, nice atmosphere with nice people. As I was there today they had 3 vegan options for cakes (bounty cake, citron cake, banana bread) - some if which are also gluten-free. What I liked about the cakes was that they were NOT that awfully sweet und unhealthy as they often use to be in the Netherlands. Especially the bounty cake was a real highlight.
Read moreUpdate: I just found out that „the daughter“ is vegan herself and she’s the one who is good at baking and preparing those delicious fluffy pancakes! Mjam! Have a look at the photos! Also, the avocado toast with homemade hummus was nice (although you cannot compare the bread to German bread...).
Pros: delicious vegan cake with gluten-free options, cosy atmosphere, vegan pancakes!
Cons: offering a warm healthy lunch would be nice!

Best coffee place in Schiedam - Edit
Coffeeshop with an amazing vibe. It's peaceful and quiet. The owner is really nice, and she will tell you all about the tea and coffee in the shop. The menu has a lot of delicious options. Even a caffeine free oatmilk cappuccino isn't a problem.
Read moreAll the cakes are incredible, and there is always at least one delicious vegan option. The best one is the Tony chocolonely caramel sea salt cake (not vegan). It's sooo good. Must try.
There is also a really nice lunch menu with homemade bread.
Great place to hang out by yourself and read a book, or to meet up with friends. There is a nice sitting area outside in the back. They also have a lot of books about coffee and other subject, which you can read if you want.
