Vegan version of the typical Dutch snack bar - Edit
This is a nice vegan version of the typical snack-bars serving fast deep-fried junk food at night (or any time of day for that matter) that's part of Dutch culture. If you're vegan, you can still indulge.

Read moreIt has plenty of options - I went for the kapsalon (if you get the house sambal with it, make sure you mix it all in!!) and it was very tasty. It was the first time I'd had it with thinly sliced vegan "kebab" rather than the thicker shoarma pieces, and I really enjoyed that texture. Beautifully melted vegan cheese and garlic sauce too, with some salad to top it all off. Delicious.
My boyfriend went for the jackfruit rendang pita - you could also get the jackfruit rendang as a kapsalon, but he wanted something a bit lighter so he has it in a pita rather than over fries.
I think it's really nice that you can have the main dishes dressed up in different ways - as loaded fries, in a pita or in a wrap. It's versatile, and you can pick based on how hungry you feel. The portions look quite small, but we were both happily full at the end!
We also got the kombucha, that was very tasty too.
Overall, great experience at this place. I will eat here again when I'm back in Utrecht!

Voor de vegan snacktrek na het stappen - Edit
Superleuke plek voor de last vega's die na het stappen nog willen snacken! Geheel in de stijl van Las Vegas hangt er een rad aan de muur waar je voor 5 euro een zakje zout of een hele kapsalon kunt winnen. Het menu is bijna helemaal vegan op 2 snacks na. De eigenaar vertelde ons dat de laatste niet-vegan snacks binnenkort van het menu verdwijnen.

Vegan Frituur Heaven - Edit
Just amazing. Very tasty food, especially the kapsalon with tasty sauces. Authentic ambiance with a classic frituur assortment and almost completely vegan menu with a few vegetarian exceptions. All food suppliers are displayed and the service was fast and friendly. Definitely a must visit!

Als vegetariër of veganist zijn er later op de avond / tijdens het stappen weinig opties. Gelukkig is er in Utrecht met Last Vegas nu een heerlijke en goede keuze bijgekomen voor het nachtleven.

So happy to have this vegetarian snackbar in our neighborhood. Finally some finger licking vegan fast food. The gambling rendang is just amazing. But nothing can top the vegan bitterballen. When deciding to stop eating animals I was always feeling sorry for having to miss my favorite snack: bitterballen. I've tried many vegans versions, but never tasted ones this good. Honestly, I think there's nog difference in flavor with the original ones 🤩🤩

Ordered their loaded chili cheese fries, which tasted great! It might not be the healthiest but the cheese sauce really hit some of the cravings that can be more difficult to satisfy with vegan food.
