Yummy options for vegan! - Edit
If you’re going as a group with some meat eaters, here’s one of the best places to choose. There’re a fair few vegetarian and vegan options such as nachos with guacamole, vegan cheese and pulled jackfruit, salads, mushrooms tortillas and some yummy desserts like mango sorbet, chocolate tart and coconut pudding with mixed berries sauce.

I really like their vegan tortillas. I wish they wouldn’t charge me for extra sauce tho lol But their food is really nice!

A fair choice if accompanied by meat eaters - Edit
With branches all over the UK, Las Iguanas is a chain providing dishes from Latinamerica.
Read moreThere is a fair range of vegetarian dishes on the menu, however, only few vegan ones. There is a special menu for vegetarians and vegans and those who want to eat gluten free though.
I opted for the Portobello Mushroom Fajita (made vegan by request).
I got fried mushrooms with some vegetables, tacos and separately guacamole, a hot sauce and hot peppers.
The food was good and the portion was filling, but all in all with too much oil for my taste. Furthermore, I couldn't help noticing that the vegan option of the Fajita was simply the regular one without any cheese for the same price (13,95£).
Service quick and friendly.
More vegan options would be nice. If you want to go out for dinner with meat eaters, las Iguanas is a fair choice.

A Few Vegan Options Avaliable - Edit
This restaurant offers several vegetarian and vegan options. When you turn up, just ask for the vegetarian/vegan menu. It's great that they offer a separate menu, on which everything is vegetarian, and the vegan options are marked with a (v). The vegan options they offer are delicious, but unfortunately limited. I think there were about 4 vegan main course options, and unfortunately none of the desserts were vegan. The staff are friendly and it's a nice atmosphere.

Very good - Edit
We were positively surprised when we arrived at the restaurant and asked about vegan options, and the waiter gave us a fully dedicated menu for vegetarian and vegan customers.
Read moreThere are not many main vegan options, but the ones that currently exist are delicious.
I had the Bahia Moqueca and my husband had the Mushroom Fajita. Waiter was very friendly and knew about vegan options and ingredients, or was happy to consult with kitchen if necessary. When turning a dish from vegetarian to vegan, he also suggested extra side options to replace the non-vegan side that was not going to be part of the dish.
Portion sizes are really good. Happily going back again.
