Tasty and RIGHT ON THE BEACH!!

AWESOME place to dine on the beach for sunset or just drinks by the beach. There were limited vegan options when I went, but there were marked vegan options nonetheless. I was mislead by the vegan nachos- they are just chips with veggies on them, no melted cheese. I had the Paella, which was great, pretty greasy, not the biggest portion in the world- I easily finished it, it was €8.990. It came with a tzaziki but I asked if they could take that back and switch it with their homemade spicy tofu sour cream used for the nachos so the whole meal could be vegan they did without charging me. The sour cream is GOOD! I’d go back and try the Cassada. The also have live music!

Pros: Live Music, Vegan tries at a countryside restaurant , Lovely beach location

Cons: Price

Amazing, unexpected vegan nachos on the beach!

Would you believe that this little place on an empty beach on the road from one small town to another serves VEGAN NACHOS, labeled as such on its small menu, compete with delectable tofu herb sour cream? And a vegan version of casado (traditional Costa Rican plate) to die for? Along with other dishes, like patacones (twice-fried smashed plantains) with refried beans and guacamole . They were knowledgeable and friendly about vegan-ness. My husband and I made a point of saying how glad we were that they offered so much vegan food, and the owner said--his dog, Jack, at his feet--that people have asked, so they have delivered. (A great lesson for all of us to KEEP ASKING!) The restaurant is alongside a small inn and sits RIGHT on the beach in a wonderful casual atmosphere. Now if they'd just go completely vegan, I'd give 'em five stars...:)

Pros: Special nachos, They get veganism!, Gorgeous setting

Cons: Not totally vegan!
