So cozy and tasty!

Very very good in house made salads, sandwiches, and desserts. We had the vegan grilled cheese, tuna salad sandwich, root salads, brownie, and peanut butter bar, all of which were amazing and served to us by the sweetest employee. They also had a a grocery section with plenty of frozen vegan goodies to prepare at home.

Pros: Delicious food, Kind employees, Cozy atmosphere

Just Lovely!!!

This market is truly wonderful. Their sandwiches and pies are sooo delicious. The fresh selection in the fridge is great, and they have plenty of vegan options in the freezers too. Good organic produce!

Amazing addition to North Vancouver

I'm so happy that Larry's exists. It's in a prime location & is super convenient. I find them carrying a lot of vegan products that other stores in the Lower Lonsdale area don't.
I'm also a big fan of their baked goods & warm food! I'll get the occasional meal that feels a little stale, but not often enough to warrant taking a star off in their review.

Pros: Lovely staff, Yummy coffee & baked goods, Convenient location

Delicious food and the best coffee

Larry's is my go to spot for coffee. They make great drinks and it's actually cheaper than most places around.
Their vegan food menu seems to keep expanding. Their sandwiches are so good(muffalata and chickpea "tuna" are fantastic), they even have vegan grilled cheeses and pizza now. And their kombucha slushies go perfectly with their sandwiches in the summer.
Croissants? Random baked goods? Forget about it, this place rules.

Pros: Friendly staff, Great food

Cons: Pricey groceries

Amazing service and food

I have a lot of allergies and these guys really went out of their way to cater to them. Everything in the store is vegetarian and most of its vegan, and they have a lot of unique stuff too. Great experience!😄

Need more Larry’s Markets

Lots of vegan products and bakery, food! For a daily shop, I would consider it more on the pricey side. But to get exciting vegan gifts or put gift baskets together, it’s a great place to find some unknown or new products.

Pros: Vegan products, Friendly staff, Environmental packaging

Cons: Maybe considered pricey

Well curated store

Located in a newer part of Lower Lonsdale, Larry’s is packed full of veg/vegan goodies and a variety of local products and fresh organic produce.

Although we didn’t try, there is an in-house cafe serving pizza, burgers and avo toast as well as coffee and treats made/baked locally.

Pros: Many vegan options , Food to go, 100% vegetarian

Cons: Grocery quite a bit more expensive than others

Great stuff!

Had the West Coast burger, Curry cauliflower wrap and double espresso.

The burger was by far the best in Vancouver, and we have been to plenty of places. The patty was delicious, they sell the "very good butchers" burgers and sausages, so I wonder if that was it. The bun was nicely toasted, the greens in there was delightful, the right amount of ingredients, simple, no mess, no fuss, just lovely flavours and textures.

It came with a side salad, we chose the chickpea salad which had bits of raisins, celery, cherry skins (?), spinach leaves (I think) and tomatoes. It was refreshing, nice but really dense because of the amount of chickpeas in there. The raisins were unwelcomed even though I love raisins.

The curry wrap had a nice flavour, but again, the raisins in there was a bit odd. Loved the cauliflower, the yams had too much bite to it, I prefer it to mush in my mouth.
We had the wrap warmed up and the brown paper it came in...bits actually got stuck to the wrap itself lol.

They gave everyone a free piece of chocolate due to their 1 year anniversary, ours was the heart chocolate and it was like a truffle without the powder. It was good.

The service was a bit chaotic, I overheard that some people didn't know where to stand to order, nor did we.
They forgot our expresso due to it being a busy time.

For efficiency, there should be clear marking systems for tables, clearer signs to "stand here" to queue as it seems that you can order from 3 areas of the counter, and clear labels of what is vegan or not on the food board.

The staffs were very friendly.

The live music was a bit loud as there are literally 2 tables around it, can't really talk with whoever you're with. It was great stuff though, a nice addition.

The shop itself was good.

Pros: Food!

Cons: Loud, expensive

Amazing shop, has everything you need and even more!

I came accross this shop/bistro/deli just by chance when going for a trip to the Grouse Mountain. What a good luck! They have so many locally sourced vegan products, often small brands that I have not seen anywhere else. I bought many small snacks for my trip. I have not tried anything from their bistro menu, but all looked delicious. There are only a few vegetarian products and luckily, no meat! The location is great, specially if you're heading for a trip to the Grouse Mountain/Capilano Bridge Park/Lynn Valley etc. And I really appreciate their long opening hours. Staff were nice and helpful, too. Definitely 5/5.

Pros: Amazing choice of products, Long opening hours, Location

Cons: NONE!!!
