I've lived nearby for years and had never been to this shopping center. I'm so glad a friend suggested it. We had the vegan nachos and quesadilla with avocado. Both were delicious! Will definitely be coming back to try all the vegan options.

We are local here and fairly new plant based eaters. It has been difficult to say the least to find good options. This place was amazing. The service was wonderful. He told us exactly what his wife who is vegan orders and we took his advice. It was so good!! The prices are on point. We will def be back!!

Great plant based food and great service. Family run and owned. They know what vegan means since the chef/owner is vegan. Ask for the vegetarian menu and say no cheese. We've been there many times and had great meals with plenty to take home. Meat eaters with us liked it also. Beer and wine available.
Read moreJuly 2020 update: We've eaten here at least once a month for several years and the food is always great. Their dining room tables are spaced out appropriately, but right now we feel more comfortable doing curbside service. Online ordering through there website is easy and you can pay online also. Then just pull up to the marked parking spaces and call to let them know you are there. Oci or Sebastian will be happy to bring your delicious food out to the car.

The waiter was very knowledgeable about the vegan menu. The food and service was outstanding. After dinner our waiter recommended a vegan chocolate pie that his wife created the recipe for. I love that is a family owned local business.

I have been to Lapa's many times and each time I have had a delicious Costa Rican vegan dinner. Let them know you are vegan as others have mentioned so they will omit the cheese. Refreshing pineapple juice drink goes well with the Arroz con Veggies entree with potatoes and beans. Service is excellent and friendly. Highly recommend to all - vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters. Serves beer and wine, but no non-alcoholic beer.

We had a great experience here! They have a separate vegetarian menu and they were very clear on what vegan means. Just be sure to specify, of course. I had the Arroz con Veggies and it was delicious! I spent a month in Costa Rica so it was definitely nice to have some authentic Costa Rican food! The space is casual but nice. Family run.
