Mediocre vegan dishes for high price - Edit
There is a specific vegan menu, but dishes are very salty and expensive. Check your dish before eating, ours had egg and fish sauce and the waitress changed the dish.

This restaurant used to deliver good flavours but after some years it really lowered it's standards. The menu is like a MacDonald menu, flavours and consistency are lacking (a green curry we got had a consistency of a runny soup) and the service was extremely slow (We waited over 25minutes for 1 main order). So disappointed I'll never come here again even though some 5-8 years ago this place was very good and well priced. Now it's overpriced for dishes that are not even worth it.

Excellent location by the River. I had the Pad see Ew which was very light fresh vegetables and bit of tofu. Mainly decided to eat here due to location and it was close to my hotel.

Decent amount of options, tasty food and lots of it as well. I don't remember if they offer desserts, I was too full to bother. Also a pretty nice view if seated outside.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming and explained which dishes can be veganised. The starter bao was delicious and their smoothies are really tasty too. Had a great meal - would definitely recommend.

At the time we have been there, they had no vegan main dishes nor could they make meals vegan. They had "vegetarian" dishes which had fish sauce in them and were pre-prepaired, so they could not make them vegetarian/vegan. Some of the starters seemed vegetarian/vegan though. Anyway, we went elsewhere.

Lao Thai is in a great location, offers good service and tasty food. Works excellent for both meat-eaters and vegans.
