Vegan Menu Not Vegan - Edit
WARNING: I learned in November that Landmark Diner's "Vegan Menu" is not really vegan. I was told by a manager at Landmark Diner (after another staff member told me the same thing) that the rice is cooked with butter and the sauce (tzatziki) served with their falafel sandwich has milk yogurt, but that it was fine since neither has meat in it. Amazing how a restaurant is allowed to make a claim about (and advertise) a product without knowing what it means. Please make sure to ask probing questions and not take anything at this restaurant for face value. So incredibly disappointing as Landmark (and their vegan menu) have been a staple for me and my family for so long.
