Wohlfühlort mit tollem Essen - Edit
Wir waren schon oft im Landhaus Beckmann, weil uns das Hotel einfach begeistert. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich und der Spa-Bereich lädt zum entspannen ein. Am besten gefällt uns aber das Essen! Das Restaurant hat eine tolle, saisonale Karte mit super viel veganer Auswahl. Außerdem gibts hier die beste Tomatensuppe der Welt! Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet auch eine sehr große Auswahl. Ich würde 5 Sterne geben, wenn ich könnte.

Read moreThe first thing that struck us as vegans: small clues are everywhere to discover. Several vegan signs (Vegan welcome etc.) at the entrance. Vegan stickers and magazines in the lounge.👍
The hotel has four star level. There is also a spa there. The massages & cosmetic treatments offered are vegan. We did not use the spa.
The vegan offer at dinner is very good. Breakfast and dinner must be paid for separately. Even as a non-guest you can eat there (with reservation).
🤗 We think it's great that the hotel is trying to replace as many animal products as possible with a vegan alternative.
Thus, most of the dishes in the restaurant are already vegan. The drinks menu features only vegan beverages (juices, wines, cocktails, etc.).
The hotel also relies on vegan washing and cleaning products, as well as service clothing for housekeeping.

Bicycles and e-bikes can be rented for a fee.
Accommodation:
The chocolate by the bed is vegan, which is a great start in the room.
We stayed in the room of the category "Junior Suite". (Recommendation room no. 221). According to the website, the rooms are the highest quality, so I do not know if the smaller rooms are equally equipped, as I report below.
Our room was very clean and modern. I think that will be the case in every room.
The bathroom is very large and appealing. It has plenty of space, a bathtub, a separate shower and even an Aquaclean toilet.
The shampoo/soap is vegan.
There is a mini-bar. The products in the mini-bar (Manner wafers, Oreo, salt sticks, drinks) are all vegan. Free of charge is tea and coffee in the room. Even the coffee whitener is vegan!
The view is out the back of room 221. Nice and quiet. 👍 To the front out is the parking lot of the hotel and a more busy road.
I found the room good, except for the mattress 🙈 It was too hard for me. But mattresses are always a very individual matter.
FOOD:
We learned from an employee that things like cappuccino, mayo, etc. are vegan by default. If you want cow's milk with your coffee, you have to order it explicitly. 😍
We tried the dinner and breakfast. I thought dinner was good, but a bit pricey.
It was nice that all desserts are vegan.
Breakfast was very good and almost everything was labeled (Only the hot dishes were missing signs). A lot of the food was vegan. Milk on the table was oat milk by default!

I am very happy with my stay at Landhaus Beckmann over the weekend. They have some packages including spa, overnight staying, breakfast and dinner with 4 and 5 courses.

Tolles großes Angebot an veganen Gerichten! Insgesamt ein bisschen teurer, aber die Atmosphäre ist toll und das Essen lecker. Das Tomaten-Creme-Süppchen mit Croutons und Basilikum-Pesto war mein Highlight! Die Tellerrösti mit rahmigem Pilzragout waren super lecker. Der Double Black Bean Burger hat uns leider nicht so gut geschmeckt.

Ein an sich schönes Restaurant und die Auswahl der veganen Speisen ist wirklich super! Finde die Preise allerdings für die größe der Portionen nicht gerechtfertigt. D erwarte ich wenn dann auch etwas mehr pfiff und Kreativität, statt z.B. Fertig"schnitzel"

Read moreHier kann man ein tolles, entspanntes Wellness-Wochenende verbringen. Nicht zu groß, aber mit allem was man braucht findet man hier in einer fast schon familiären Atmosphäre. Man kann zwischen unterschiedlichen Zimmerkategorien wählen, gegen Aufpreis von ein paar Euro den kleinen,feinen Spa-Bereich benutzen (2 Saunen, Dampfbad, Sole-Raum, Entspannungsraum, Lounge in der man Essen hin bestellen kann) und im Restaurant sehr gut vegan Essen (unbedingt einen Tisch reservieren an Wochenenden, auch als Hotelgast!). Wir hatten bei einigen Gerichten einen echten Wow-Effekt,also nicht nur eine solide Küche mit veganen Standard-Gerichten😉 Auch das Frühstücksbuffett ist klasse und alles vegan ausgeschildert. Auf dem Zimmer findet man in der Minibar eine kleine feine Auswahl an tollen veganen alkoholischen und nicht-alkoholischen Getränken von regionalen und ökologischen Anbietern zu wirklich guten Preisen. Auch die Snacks sind alle vegan. Zum kostenlosen Kaffee auf den Zimmern steht ausschließlich Hafermilch (in Form von Kondensmilch.Hatte ich auch noch nicht gesehen) zur Verfügung. Hunde sind willkommen, kosten bei einem Hotelaufenthalt allerdings etwas Aufpreis. Wer nicht übernachten möchte,kann den Wellness Bereich auch nur als Besucher*in mit einer Tageskarte nutzen und anschließend lecker im Restaurant essen. Auch die Umgebung ist sehr schön,man kann direkt vor der Tür mit den Hunden loswandern.

Da es sehr viele vegane Gerichte gibt, hat man eine schöne Auswahl.
Falls dann doch mal ein Fleischesser mit am Tisch sitzen sollten, hat dieser jedoch auch eine Auswahl an Fleisch- oder Fischgerichten. Wobei erfahrungsgemäß doch eher die veganen Optionen gewählt werden.
Gemütlich ist es auch allemal und unser Hund findet unter dem Tisch auch einen Platz und bekommt Wasser angeboten😄

I stayed here overnight and had both dinner and breakfast here. We got there about 6:50pm for dinner, but didn't get our meals until after 8pm. They even took another's table's order before us even though we got there first. The people were nice, but I think they were overwhelmed.

They have a lot of vegan options. They also brought out bread with vegan butter. I got a pesto gnocchi dish, which was pretty good, but also way too salty and I am not usually one to complain about salt. My husband got a burger, which was good. It looked a lot like a Beyond burger. The others in my group got the schnitzel and liked it, but some were disappointed that the fries were not freshly cut.
They have a large selection of vegan ice cream and other tasty desserts.
The indoor area where we were sitting for dinner had no AC and no ventilation at all. It got so hot that I could hardly eat because I felt so ill. Someone else in my group was drenched in sweat. Do not eat indoors here in a heat wave.
The breakfast buffet was better than the dinner, and this time we ate outside. There were a lot of good options, like vegan yogurts, breads, spreads, and even vegan deli slices. I was disappointed that there was so much meat at the breakfast buffet, though, because vegans don't want to pay for meat.

Alle Getränke (zum Beispiel wunderbare Säfte aus der Region) und fast alle Nachtische sind vegan. Der Service ist sehr freundlich. Und oft kommt der Chef (der selber vegan ist) noch auf ein Schwätzchen vorbei. Wir essen immer wieder gern hier.

Wir hatten ein Wochenende, inkl. Frühstück und Abendessen gebucht. Das vegane Essen ist richtig gut. Man schmeckt, dass hier jemand Ahnung von der veganen Küche hat. Auch meine Mutter (nicht vegan) war begeistert. Fleisch und Fisch kann man zwar bestellen, vegan ist aber eher die Regel. Vorspeisen und Desserts waren in den mit gebuchten Menüs immer vegan und auch der Kaffee wird standardmäßig mit Sojamilch gemacht. Top 👍 Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt!

Surprisingly vegan friendly - Edit
Surprisingly the restaurant at this hotel offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes from burgers to salads to desserts (which isn't so common in the area it's located). I really enjoyed my cruelty free meal here because of the tasty food, the peaceful ambience and the friendly staff.
