Yay! - Edit
Finally got around to trying this place! It was amazing! Tried the chocolate croissant & frøsnapper (my favourite! Tasted exactly like the original kind!) and my partner tried the chocolate croissant and the kanelsnegl (also tasted exactly like the regular kind! And it was very big!) and his favourite was the croissant. They had so many options, and we will definitely be back. Also a plus that they have gluten-free options for those who need that, although we didn’t try those yet;) #Veganuary

Almost entirely vegan? - Edit
I didn’t notice anything that wasn’t labeled vegan the day I went. Several items were vegan and gluten free. I tried a cinnamon snail since those are one of my favorites and I really enjoyed it. If I had been staying closer, I would’ve gone every day!

Local vegan bakery - Edit
We got one sweet pastry cream and poppy seed croissant and some stroopwaffel. The pastry cream was perfectly baked and not too sweet. It wasn't like anything we had had before. The lady running the place was friendly and helpful.

Lots of vegan baked goods - Edit
This is a small place that sells mostly vegan baked goods (they offer the odd 2 with dairy cheese and/or butter).
Read moreMost pastries are sweet, when I visited they offered one savory Handpizza with Just cheese & olives (42 kronas). You can also find a small selection of Snacks, milks & joghurts. The croissants were great! Also a good stop to buy some snacks before a train journey

a lot of vegan options, varying taste - Edit
I was there early in the morning and got some musli bagels and two kinds of cinnamon rolls. The musli bagles were great and they kept fresh well, I had the second one I got a day later for breakfast amd it was still moist and tasty. The cinnamon rolls on the other hand were disappointing. Both kinds were greasy and bland.

Handy Little Gem - Edit
Love the cinnamon scrolls and the breads are really good in the typical Nordic style- dense and heavy, full on taste and nutrition. Croissants were a bit oily and chewy, not flaky as I am used to getting. Reasonable range of other vegan items available given that the shop is quite small. All in all very good. Easy to find and get to.

Several labeled vegan options. The pastries we got were very good. No seating, so we took our pastries to a nearby plaza.

Very delicious pastries! - Edit
We tried 4 different ones and all of them were super delicious! Some of them look a bit dry, even though they are not at all. But some were quite sweet (which we personally liked). The staff was very friendly too and they had a bunch of vegan groceries and drinks to choose from too.

Taste > Sugar - Edit
Found on a busy street in Copenhagen’s center, minutes from any major attraction, Landbageriat offers an overwhelming amount of quality vegan (and gluten-free) options for the sophisticated pallet. We ordered the chocolate-covered marzipan, cinnamon snail, and custard danish.
Read moreThe marzipan covered in chocolate and nuts steals the show. The marzipan and chocolate, pairing better than peanut butter and chocolate, melts in your mouth, the chocolate adds a momentary crunch, and the nut adds more texture. The Danish snail with a frosting swirl and cinnamon punches you with cinnamon while the sugar takes the edge off. Danish pastry with custard has a strong turmeric taste and flaky pastry--a solid option
This is an adult pastry shop, focused on taste over sugar. For those looking for healthy treats, this is the place.

I love Landbageriet! - Edit
For years I’ve been visiting this bakery and it’s always great. Huge selection of vegan options that are clearly marked as vegan. My favourite is always the snegl. (Pictured) Lovely owners and a must for any vegan in Copenhagen.

The lady at the counter told us a little bit about the bakery and how difficult it is to survive for them next to big chain bakerys - so go there and buy a lot! It is worth it!
We had the chocolate croissant, cinnamon snegl, chocodrøm, a focaccia and a little olive bread - everything was delicious!!
Would give 5 Stars - but there were 2 gluten free bread rolls with cheese - so happy cow won‘t let me.
