Awesome spot and great staff - Edit
My brother and I had 20 minutes before we had to get back to our group. We told the guy in charge (owner?) and he totally made it happen. He said everything was ready so there’s almost nothing to wait for. I highly recommend the vegan sampler/taster plate - a good variety, good protein, and super tasty.

The guy in charge was super friendly with every table and seems to genuinely want to give people a good experience! Beautiful venue right along the river in the shade. Wish we had time to just relax and enjoy a cold drink! Maybe one of you will get to do that :)

Underwhelming - Edit
Okay, it’s the only fully vegetarian restaurant in Český Krumlov, but the food is very basic, not great and really just overpriced for what it is..

Less than mediocre - Edit
So nice to have a vegetarian restaurant in a place with few options and the location on the river is beautiful. Management also very friendly. Unfortunately, the food was really less than mediocre in my opinion, with weak flavours and sloppy presentation. Vegan food can be so much better than this.

Tasty Desserts - Edit
The prices on their Homepage are not up to date and they only accept cash. So make sure you have enough money with you when you go there. I had the Tofu salad which was nothing special but the blueberry dumplings were very good.

Restaurant with love - Edit
There weren't many vegan options in Krumlov and we are so glad we picked this one! The menu is a little all over the place with dishes from around the world but all very tasty! The spot on the river is pretty and the owner a true character! We had a lot of fun and felt very welcome and cared for. 100% would recommend even if it's just for the staff ;)

Excellent food, setting and service. - Edit
Really beautiful place to stop and eat. Plenty of vegan choices. I only needed something light so had the hummus. Delicious. In an area with mainly meat choices this place was paradise. Waiter/owner was very friendly and welcoming.

Unforgettable - Edit
Really unforgettable experience. The staff man was probably on something. He was wery eccentric, was laughing at everything he said. The tables were dirty. The bill was just written on a paper, he was counting it in front of us. Cash only. The food was average. Maybe below average. My mushrooms were too oily and probably from a can. And it's very pricey. But many vegan options.

spectacular views, let down by food - Edit
amazing views at the terrace of the castle and right on the river side.
Read morethe host is special, and really friendly!
the order we had was the shish kabab and the nasi goreng... unfortunately the nasi goreng was really bland, it also did not have the tofu that was mentioned.
the shish kebab was decent and smoky, but the side salad and the dip had lot to be desired.
spectacular views though.

Old fashioned veggie fare in stunning setting - Edit
For me, the food was a teeny bit on the stodgy side but others in the party really enjoyed it. Stunning setting by the river and definitely worth a visit.

Could be better - Edit
The location is absolutely stunning, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The soup of the day was delicious. However, the main course was a letdown—just a single piece of tofu, which felt quite underwhelming. Also, it's worth noting that they only accept cash, which can be inconvenient.

Your one spot for vegan - Edit
The service is good, although the main server / ?Owner is quite eccentric, but the star of this is the massive menu with many vegan options. Basically the best place in town to eat to have your dietaries covered, plus beautiful views of the water, bridges and surrounds.

Good choice in Krumlov - Edit
Nice restaurant with a beautiful view. I had the Tokari, it was very good, it would be nice if there was more tofu but it was still good. They have a lot of vegan options and other options that can be made vegan. Others had the burrito, pakora. If I'm in Český Krumlov again, I'd love to go again, the staff was very nice and funny.

Unforgettable medival location with forgettable food - Edit
Visited May 7th, 2025. Found it on Google Maps/Happy Cow.
Read moreWas super stoked to find a veg orientated place in incredible Český Krumlov,
only to realize their Prague prizes didn't reflect the food.
Unforgettable medival/gothic house with an amazing outdoor seating
in the backyard facing the river and the picturesque town as a backdrop.
Very happy and friendly host, kudos for that.
The food however, was mundane. I had a vegan Laibon special. Beans, rice, sallad, mushrooms, and a tiny spoon of a tasty thai/tofu stew. Didn't tickle the taste buds.
Look. I'm happy to pay Prague prizes (300+ czk) in a place like this (Český Krumlov), but then I expect the correlative level dish and this wasn't.
Need to step up their food game.
My company did have the Bryndzové halušky (gnocchi-ish dish with sheep cheese, 195 czk), but wasn't impressed either.
I'd say - come here to enjoy the views and brews, but for a culinary experience - this isn't it.
Pros: Dinner by the river on a sunny day is unbeatable.., One of few veg orientated places in Česky Krumlov
Cons: Pricey for what you get, Food wasn't great to be honest

Good lunch, but very pricey - Edit
After a few days in Šumava with not a whole lot to eat, I really appreciated a well made (simple) vegan dish. But for the amount of food, the price was really high.
