8F, Cloud 9 Shopping Mall, Shanghai, China,

Serves meat, vegan options available. Large Sichuan cuisine restaurant located in the Cloud 9 shopping mall, which is connected to the Zhongshan Park metro station. Menu includes inexpensive small plates that are vegan-suitable, ranging from cold Sichuan classics like fern root noodles to braised vegetables and deep fried mini potatoes. Dishes containing meat can be requested to be meat free; however the kitchen usually forgets that due to the large volume of orders. Address 长宁区长宁路1018号龙之梦购物中心8楼(近凯旋路). Reported closed to HappyCow.

Good dining option at Zhongshan Park - Edit

With no vegetarian restaurants in the area, this is my usual dining choice when I get hungry after an afternoon at the nearby Tian Shan Tea City.

The menu is in English and Chinese and while largely non-vegetarian there are a few good vegan options such as cold bean curd rolls filled with raw vegetables in vinegar sauce, fried mini potatoes (highly recommended) and steamed root vegetables.

The portion sizing is big enough that 2-3 dishes will fill you up which sets you back a very reasonable 40-60RMB.

The fried dishes aren't oily at all and the oil they use is of the clean, non-sticky kind.

The waiters are friendly and the dishes are served quickly which altogether makes this a good dining option if you don't want to travel further away for a vegetarian restaurant.

Pros: Convinient location, Reasonably priced, Fried dishes not too oily

Cons: Largely non vegetarian menu, Mall dining
